[WIP] CVPI Sound Mod

Featured Replies

I'm Sure a few have seen the download.. Well, I'd like input on a new version, without releasing it yet.

Here's the original download...

Here are Videos of the Tests I've done... Provide feedback reference the current version in testing. (V3)

V2 - Needed work... apparently sounded like a race car.. lol

V3- Still needed work.

V5 - NEEDS FEEDBACK

Real crown vic acceleration sound... compare/contrast

Is It only me or does anyone else hear the sound of a Nascar racer? lol

Anyways, Thats a great sound mod you got there! :D

From playing NR2003 for a number of hours, I can say that the car does indeed sound more like a Sprint Cup car.

Keep trying though! Practice makes perfect! :)

Processor: Intel i5-6600 @ 3.30GHz

GPU: MSI ARMOR GeForce GTX 1080 OC

Ram: 16GB Skylake

I've tried to make a good engine sound for this car in the game, when edited the sounds on Audacity they sound perfectly cool and real but i gave it up because IV kept f*cking the sounds over and over again.

From the 2 vids V3? or the last one posted sounds better to me, either way keep up the hard work looking forward to a final Ver. I'm still using V1 till ya update thank you.

I'm using a logitech 75w 5.1 surround sys for sound as well a Plantronics headset when using comms and whatnot. sounds good on my system..

Thanks man, I'll probably have a finished product by wed.

No rush, take your time..... your on the right track with the sounds. I would rather wait a month for a "WOW" this sounds great vs. trying to push yourself into a deadline and producing a rushed final. Anyway thank you for the time spent working on this :)
