Ensure you have created an exception for the entire GTA V folder in your antivirus program. If you have any other third-party software other than just Windows Defender, ensure you have also created an exception there. Utilise Google to find out how to create such an exception.

I created the exception and disabled Battleeye within the rockstar Games launcher because I have GTA V on the rockstar launcher (I didn't buy it on steam or epic) I'll try again when I get home with your help.

But I can't run third-party software on my machine.

he meant other antivirus than windows defender, dont bother if you dont have any

I have Windows Defender and I set the exception but it still doesn't work.

What else should I do besides these?

Have you added both the game folder and RagePluginHook.exe itself as exceptions?
