OK: the politics people, pay attention:

This is a video about airdropping traffic cops. How can you POSSIBLY watch that and think "this is the weakling president"? Is it Obama's fault North Korea has the dangerous ability to put traffic cops to misdirect our supply convoys? Because if you're using this as an example of what's wrong with the US government, you're an idiot. Almost as stupid as the person who decided to make a propaganda video about airdropping traffic cops.

Actually - Does anyone speak Korean? Because North Korea had publicly said the umbrellas were for shade. I'm not sure the subtitles are accurate.

I forwarded the video to a good friend of mine, S. Korean fellow,  to see if that translation is accurate.  I'll let you know.

 

BTW:  Not sure whom you are calling an idiotic.  My comment was not in reference to traffic cops being dropped either, that's ridiculous and stupid.  My point is what I said it was; that a weak president with a weak foreign policy will naturally lead to events like we're experiencing in N.Korea, i.e. N. Korea declairing war on the US and threatening nuke strikes against US cities.  Name calling is for children and liberals.

Though at some point, like srgt.scales, I've even thought that they should have nuked N.Korea back in the 50s so now these annoying pricks wouldn't be pissing everybody off and threatening the global peace. Anyhow, that could had developed in a 3rd World War with the Soviet Union...

 

Anyway, this N.Korean crisis is definitely a complex situation. Probably Koreans don't even have nukes and they missiles aren't powerful enough to reach the american continent (though the S.Koreans would be over in any case...), so a nuclear attack could be excesive. In any case, if the war started, when the first missile reached american territory, all the NATO would be launching their missiles against North Korea (remember the agree of mutual defense). In addition, have you seen its army? looks like if it had stayed in the 1950s. I've heard the population is like a big militia (with basic military training), but seeing the conditions of life of that shithole they are probably too weak for a big war.

 

Anyway, this last campaign of threats and military deployment has been just an attempt to end with the international community sanctions and start again the nuclear program conversations in exchange of humanitary aid, and at the same time strengthen the image of Kim Yong Un (or however is the name of that fat retard...). A war would be the end of the North Korean regime, would they be so dumb to start it?

Mods please excuse this political rant that's about to take place. I can not idly sit by as people talk this way.......I think that this thread has gone off topic from the original (joke?) video.

 

You people don't understand, you can't just drop a nuke on anyone you like when you want, doing so will cause political backlash, plus I'm sure it would go against NATO. They are going to talk it out as much as possible, and even then N.Korea will probably have to make the first move giving the US reasonable right to respond.

Neither side really wants to use Nuke warfare as no one really wins in the end, sure the US will devastate N.Korea, but at what cost? I never see a winner in war, just someone who lost less than the other guy. Jamaica should build an Atomic Bong and then everyone will go snack out and all be friends hugging.

 

Anyone who uses Nuke warfare has to calculate the cost involved, and I'm not talking about the millions it cost's to build them, but the cost of the souls. Why should we bomb innocent HUMAN BEINGS, just because of one guy? That's not fair.

 

Would you like people to kill you just because your friends with a colored person?

 

There is such a school yard mentality going on around here, (and I'm sorry for the people who have said nothing, I'm not saying anything about you I'm talking about the world in general) where the strongest person wins. Strong people do not win in the long run, smart people do. You drop a nuke and your going to set off a chain of events, I'm no hippie but how much more of our abuse can this world take? We've changed weather patters, destroyed the Ozone, destroyed natural resources, could this not be a tipping point? There are so many things that need to be taken in to consideration before you just drop a nuke.

 

Innocent people will be hurt/damaged/killed by that action, and it's not one to just jump to lightly. If we attack them unprovoked you don't know who's going to stand up for them, just because China does not ally with them right now, an unprovoked attack might cause them to go to their aid, all other possibilities must be exhausted first, because sure what if you launch that nuke, and then china fires back, and hits somewhere close to home for you.....then what? More nukes? That's not an answer. Death is not winning, and when the war is over, there wont be much to live for afterward.....

 

They do contribute to the world, just because it's not much, and your probably too ignorant to go out there and look before you just start pointing fingers and saying that they are all bad people.

 

I'm going to end this rant here because I'm just too frustrated to continue and I don't want the mods to get even more annoyed by my post.

 

Lets please stop this political talk, and not take this thread off topic.

Come on guys, you can't possibly think it's a good idea to nuke anybody as a first response.  That would not be a good thing for anybody.  

 

On the flip-side; when threatened with war and an armed assault (with nukes no less!), you don't take that lightly either.  The world is watching...so are our enemies.  They are watching to see how we respond to the situation...China could have very well put them up to it just so they can test our resolve and response.  Who knows, but this is a test.

north korea isn't threatening the usa...that's all mainstream media propaganda they are NOT a threat wheres the proof that kim jong un is  actually saying he will nuke the usa? the answer is there is no proof...the media and the government lied about Iraq now they are lying about n korea they are so isolated that they rarely have tourists there and when they do they take your camera and computer

False. Look on kcna.kp (the official North Korean news agency's website. They claim their nukes are to counter a US threat, and that the US will be held responsible for the current situation. Whatever sources you're using, they're bad ones.

K9, an attitude like yours is why so many people hate americans. 

How more ignorant can you get? As others have said, nuking people gets us nowhere. 

 

And regarding who the hell cares about North korea, I agree. I dont give two shits about North Korea. I care about the people in North Korea that work their asses off, only to be able to barely feed their children. And nuking those people is something no leader in the US or any country should consider doing unless nukes are used by NK first.
