This pack will allow you to utilize all vehicles included with the Skys Texas packs. All vehicles are included in some way by form of special unit types and different
jurisdictions. As a bonus, the US Border Patrol and Unmarked packs are also included, along with Jank Modding's TXDPS 2023 RAM Classic and Mesquite PD Charger Pack. 

 

Special units are custom backup options which you can call for different types of situations/areas or for roleplaying purposes.

  • Local and SAHP HEAT and Offroad backup types. 
  • Call in a supervisor whenever a karen demands it. 
  • Commercial Vehicle Enforcement thru Texas DPS, and Grapeseed via McKinney PD. 
  • Custom coded uniforms for LSPD, LSSD, SAHP, Plano PD, and McKinney PD. No 3rd party assets required beyond EUP 9.7+!
  • US Border Patrol backup type for dealing with illegal aliens. 
  • LifeFlight Helicopter for an EMS air rescue. 

 

Requirements: 
EUP 9.7 or higher from the EUP Discord and Patreon

Installation Instructions

Policing Redefined Configs Install:
- BACK UP ORIGINAL FILES!
  I am not responsible if you did not back up your original files before installing. 
- Drag n drop the three Ultimate Backup .xml files into
  GTA V Directory -> Plugins -> LSPDFR -> PolicingRedefined -> Backup
- Replace when asked. 

 

Wardrobe.ini instructions:
- Navigate to
  GTA V Directory -> Plugins -> EUP
Merge method:
- Open my wardrobe.ini file, right click, select all, copy
- Open your wardrobe.ini, scroll to bottom, hit Enter twice if needed, 
  right click, paste
  - Make sure all the outfit entries are evenly spaced when pasting!
Replace method: 
- Back up your original wardrobe.ini
  I am not responsible if you did not back up your files. 
- Copy my wardrobe.ini to the location above
  Replace when asked. 

 

Final Notes and Known issues:
 - These configs were intended for use with EUP 9.7 or newer. Older versions of EUP (9.6, 9.3, 8.3, 7.2, etc.) will NOT work. 
 - Backup units will not respond wearing the regular LSSD or LSPD uniforms. To get uniforms that match these peds for your character, see above for the wardrobe.ini install instructions.

    No EUP packs, just vanilla EUP 9.10 🙂 All the outfits are in wardrobe.ini.

    i am using your configs and one thing i have noticed that those custom vehicles and peds responds as backup only. i dont see any of them spawn ambiently in traffic. I think we need to add those custom regions, vehicles and peds in lspdfr>data>custom. Correct me if i am wrong.

    if this is the reason then it would be great if you can add those neccessary xml files for ambient spawn in a future update. Same for both Policing redifiend & ultimate backup.

    I know what you're talking about and yes, that is the lspdfr>data folder which I do not and probably never will touch in the foreseeable future. Eventually though when I've gotten all the other sets done I'll consider diving into them because you're far from the first and probably won't be the last either to suggest it lol.

    yea I think it s worth doing it. Cause your backup configs are perfect and adding ambient spawn files to it, the patrolling experience in those regions will be better

    Yep, it IS something I've tossed around from time to time but ranking it in priority between IRL stuff, pre existing projects on my to do list, some other pet projects particularly with my Discord, and updating all of my old stuff to Policing Redefined (thankfully almost done with that step) it's pretty well low enough on my totem pole that it'll be a while before it's done.

     

    Anyone else that knows how to do it though I more than encourage it especially if they wanted to use one of my config sets as a base, I'd happily promote it as a suggested addition.
