i was doing some speed traps and a idea just pop into my head :) i think it would be a good idea But i dont know if it will be possible as i do know Gta iv do have its limits :( anyways!

 

Idea 1

 

It would be cool to Do some calls-outs that turn into a Investagation, Like Respawn to a Crime scene , Look around for some Evidence and take it back to the Police station and try to see if they can Match finger prints , D,N, A and stuff,, Maybe if possible to ask around and see if anyone witness anything,,  and once We have a suspect , It would show there Details , where they live , or hang out and its up to the officer to find them! , So you would have to Go to there home which would show on the map and see if the person is there! or Patrol around the area !!! the person would have a Red Blip once y ou see the suspect,

 

what can be the outcome?

 

If caught at home!

 

1) the person can give up

 

2) The person can take out a gun and start shooting

 

3) the person might have this friends with him and might up in a Big shootout

 

OR if caught on the street

 

1) person can run,

 

2) person might try to take a hostage (only if its possible)

 

3) Start shooting at the cops

 

4) Steal a car and try to get away :)

 

And for my second idea

 

To add the  police feeling :)

 

once you arrest the suspect you have to walk them inside the police station and Fill out a Report!  and once down! a Prisoner bus picks up the prosoner and take them to the prison :)... Of course you dont need to Escort the bus unless you want to!,,,, maybe prison breaks can happen during the transport! and it can turn into a Help call :),, ,,,,,,

Prison Riot call out,, Basiccly prisoner going crazy and attack all the guards, and trying to escape... you rush to the scene and try to Stop the riot! ... to stop the riot you must at least Detain 4 to 5 prisoner to Stop the Riot and restore order :)

1) LCPDFR is more focused on everyday patrol work, and will (most likely) never venture into any special events like that. Because of this, it is extremely likely that detectives will never be added unless it is part of the upcoming API which allows people to script events themselves.

 

2) LCPDFR is also meant to be more of a sandbox type of gameplay. Unfortunately, Rockstar never created any holding rooms, and it would make me lose interest if I had to fill out a report every time I felt like bringing someone back to the station instead of calling for a transport. The bus would require adding or replacing models in the game, and IRL, there is usually only one or two transports a day for most departments.

 

3) Once again, LCPDFR is focused on everyday patrol work. Prison riots don't happen everyday, and LE agencies almost never get involved unless prisoners are breaking out.

What about an all out city/neighborhood riot like people with pool cues knifes guns Etc. that spawn somewhere like "times square" and start destroying everything, have cars already there and like a heli overhead. something like that would be fun.

Everyday patrol officers aren't normally responsible for dealing with that. The riot police exist for a reason. If it gets too out-of-control, it'd be an "all hands on deck" scenario, but that rarely happens (and those scenarios can also get the National Guard or even the Army involved).

c13 - Technical point, corrections agencies are often considered law enforcement AFAIK. So LE does get involved, because the COs are LEOs.

Well yea Of course :) but i mean Its more for the people that wants to do other things besides patroling all the time :)  Like me for example I would love to Work in the prison for Liberty one day lol and Deal with the inmates, or maybe a detective , or even Swat team where we raid a house with 2 teams and PAtrol officers Covering the back, that something that would add some Intense moments :) i mean theres alot of intense moments in lcpdfr hahah! even when it comes down to traffic stop, from getting a uzi pull out to a Dumb driver Hitting me and hope that i survive to chase them down and arrest them for Hit and run lol..80 percent i die when i get hit by a speeding car on the highway. anyways yea, i would say my idea is more for Divisons into the police force, like it would be also cool to have a Rank system and each rank unlocks new weapons , and goodies :) or even able to go into the Police station and Select the Type of Divison you wanna take part in :)....... at times i even do D.o.t Stops, which is Truck inspections :) make sure the driver is clean, no damage on the vehicle and use the Search car mod :)  to make sure there isnt any drugs or anything :)........... Also one more last idea lol .......... It would also be cool to have Help calls from Tow truck/ Repo/EMS/Taxi  drivers and Subway robbing/rapping suspects,  and even Events in the park like! keeping a look out for a mugger,  a Crazy person yelling at the tree or something lol! .......... Again these are just ideas .. besides my ideas ,,,, LCPDfr mod is Great and again i thank the Whole team for taking time out there life and making this mod !!!! gives everyone a chance to RP being a cop instend of a bad guy all the time :))...

The AI complexity of what you want is not possible in gta. Other games achieve that by prescripting cinematics to show the things you are thinking of, but that removes player control and randomness. Such free will of NPCs hasn't been created yet.

It all lies within the API... if the next version features that, you can be assured some daring scripters will bring out all sorts...

Ranks are extremely unlikely, because they are a bad fit for this mod. This isn't an arcade-style mod, and ranks are the classic arcade idea. I want to have whatever equipment I want right off the bat. That's generally how actual police work too - special units might get more gear, but it's not tied to rank at all (a captain is really unlikely to have SWAT gear, because his job is supervisory). Also, with different divisions: This mod is designed to simulate a patrol officer. That's the issue: The devs aren't interested in making you a SWAT guy, or detective, or prison guard. You're a first responder.
