Introduction

 

Hi, with this post I wanted to share my work in progress that I've been working and dedicating lots of hours. Yes, I am not a ZModeler expert, I had no previous experience on this 3D modelling, but I've been learning thanks to people who share their knowledge and take from their time to help someone. I will be converting stock police vehicles to ELS. It all started because I wanted the stock police cars on ELS and I don't like to beg someone to do it. I saw there were nobody with the model on ELS at least with them right now and available to the public, so I decided to make them myself.

• I had tested the vehicles police1 and police2 and found no problems so far, except if you shoot at the windows it will crash GTA. I haven't been able to find a fix and that delayed my release, i decided to upload so users can feel and help findind more bugs. I will try to fix this as soon as possible. File has been uploaded and is awaiting approval. It will include 2 vehicles for now. The FBI and Noose needs to be fixed and will not be released on this version. Sorry for the last update

• I have finished the FBI, There will be two model for these, the slicktop and the one with lightbar on top. None of these model will have a traffic advisor until the second release were I will try to make them better and hopefully, I learn more to make them near as perfect. Thanks for staying tune, I will be releasing this 4 models (FBI, Noose, Police and Police2) shortly. I will now test them and see if they work, if they give me no trouble, I will submit them very soon.   I've spent all my day off on this lol, so now I called a day.

Update 3/31/2013 - 6PM Easter Time (US & Canada)
 

• I have finished the models shown on the video. Sadly, when the lights are off, you will see just the box where the led goes. As I can't figure out how to have the led off, because it shines like if the wig wags are on. If somebody knows how to fix this, perhaps you can clear that for me. Meanwhile, my models are going to have no OFF-Clear lamps. Sorry, still looks good when lightning ;-)

Thanks for your support +1 !! I am putting all my effort to learn this ZModeler program. At least so I can create replicas of some departments, not just the textures. Sometimes I want the same lightning but I didn't know how to. But now, I'm getting there

 

Glad you have decided to do this. I was thinking of swapping to ELS but prefer the standard vehicles.

 

Will you release these as unlocked .wft files so that others can import them into Zmodeler and see how they are made?

 

  Thanks for your support, still you will need ELS so they light up, and about the unlock. The GTAIV stock police is unlocked, I just added a lightbar PFC Wheelen Liberty, and the extras from the rambar and mirrors, are copies of the extras from the lightbar. I don't know much about ZModeler.

 

What's the point of releasing it unlocked, someone will steal my work, I rather have it lock. It's basic modelling but still I put too much effort to learn and have someone claim it as their.    I'll think about it

 

 

 

wow those look bad ass....digging the song..you should make one based on the Taurus after these or for the future, are you going to do the other stock cars like patriot buffalo and a noose?
