Nice to see that L.S. County Sheriff's Department is confirmed! If only they had proper LASD-style uniforms, with khaki shirts and green pants. The ones they have on look like LAPD-style threads. If they get that, and the proper B&W LASD-style liveries, I'll be content.

I think those are actually SUVs, not Hummers. They seem to have a livery similar to the old USBP one, that was used before the DHS was created. The old USBP livery was a horizontal line, the new one is a stripe angled forward.

 

 

Is it me, or are there wing-mirror lights on the SUVs?

For me personally I think that they are spending a lot of time on the visual effects and less time on the cars. In the picture above the Patrol cars don't really look the best, I'm not sure if they were purposely doing it or if its just me. What do you guys think? Personally I'd like to see a Modded IV Patrol car added in somewhere.

I really like the submarine. Just hope it's optimized for PC otherwise my computer can wave it's dreams of playing this goodbye.

This is just one picture, the game isn't finished and they might aswell have used a lower texture resolution for testing purpose, or used a distance model for the cars.

 

You are not in the skin on the developers, don't act as if you are.

About the "Low-Res" textures you're saying. Ever played GTA IV on consoles? If you are more than 20m away from the Cruisers, their skin looks exactly like this, all blurry and stuff, and if you go up close they are in HD again.

I went into bestbuy and gta v could only be pre-ordered for xbox and ps3... no PC version to pre-order

It won't be until the game's release we'll see more crisp, fine detail, IMO.

Yeah with the rate this game is going, it seems it will be even more massive than IV!!

 

Hopefully they do a better job with V though because even my computer struggles with IV. It runs Arma 2 better than IV lol!

Looks indeed nice. Got it pre-ordered, shame it's not comming out for PC within the first releases. So I had to get it for my PS3 console.

The wii u can handle gta better than 360 and ps3 hardware wise plus they got a xbox style gaming pad so its very doable
