***To people who don't know how to install scripthook***

 

 

ScriptHookDotNet.asi goes in SCRIPTS folder.

 

 

Other files go in the normal GTA iv directory. (The 1.7.1.7 is on the policehelper 1.0.0b as abraxas said. Go there to download it. Error SS10...I have no clue what error that is)

    My game doesn't crash that quickly with it installed. Maybe 20-30 minutes. The only thing it says for me is error in script even when i reloadscripts. Anyone else getting the same issue?

This is what it says: GTA IV FATAL ERROR: SI10: Code is expecting version %d but file %s has version %d! - Please reinstall GTA IV.  dafuq?

Should always make a backup of the un modded fresh installed Gta IV. No one seems to know what that error means (From me looking it up online).

 

 

But yeah, Re-install gta or if you do have a backup use that

Yup, i got my back up Gta, but it didnt helped. I replaced whole game. Anyway thanks for looking it up for me.

    i haven't noticed crashes beyond the normal

    I want users to have fun with my mods, not constant crashes or not using mods because they can't/don't want to/don't know how to upgrade scripthook.
    ScriptHook 1.7.1.7 still will be recommended, but it should work with 1.7.1.4 too.

    I get that error sometimes when I try to start a new game after a recent long game play or after adding several mods at once (cars, scripts and whatnot).  After a reboot it goes away and all is well.  Happens rarely for me, but does happen.

    Yeah, It even says (in a file) That does nothing but is named "PUT DOT NET SCRIPTHOOKS HERE!" In a scripts folder upon download :P

    ScriptHook.dll and ScriptHookDotNet.asi go to main GTA directory.
    File you are referring to says "_PUT .NET SCRIPTS HERE" and indicates where you should instal scripts, not ScriptHook.
