  • Do you have any modded cars installed? I noticed that if you have alot of modded cars installed the texture loses are just huge... But the map is pretty demanding so you might have texture loses witho

  • So he's saying it only happens because of newveh.img? That's not true because I don't have any added cars and none of my trees load. Like, not even a few of them, I mean NONE load. But I do use EFLC.

  • No, it shouldnt effect any other mods

hey i loaded the objects but then snt froze but i could still drive how do you get snt unfroze?

You have to WAIT that SNT loads the objects.. When it says ... objects loaded you can use it again

30 Seconds... 20 Seconds... 10 Seconds...  BANG BANG!! Chief - You do know were not able to shoot people on site anymore? R. Givens - He pulled first! *Season 1 Opener*

I've had a couple of problems with the map, hopefully someone can help me figure out what went wrong. I have EFLC, SNT, and no other map mods. I installed the files according to the README instructions. The map itself loads ok, as well as the traffic flow, however there are no trees visible, none (I still can crash into them, I found out). When I load the Objects.ini file i experience a massive texture loss issue (not unlike when you have an incompatible vehicle/ped modification). On a side note the buildings in the map aren't solid, and I can walk through all of them... not sure if that is the way its supposed to be or not. I reinstalled the mod twice to ensure I had done it properly, but I've had no success in figuring out the problem.

Do you have any modded cars installed? I noticed that if you have alot of modded cars installed the texture loses are just huge... But the map is pretty demanding so you might have texture loses without any other mods on weaker computers. Also the houses are made with SNT so you can walk/drive thru 'em. IV's engine couldnt handle the map with buildings so they had to be made in SNT.

And about the trees, this seems to be a big problem with alot of ppl, I'll contact StillDre and ask if he could provide some kind of fix for this. But on your case it also might be due to the texture loses..

Thanks for your quick reply,

I do have modded cars. I will try removing them for the texture loss issue. At least now I know that the walk through buildings is normal.

As far as the trees go I don't think its related to the texture loss issue. I only experience a texture loss when loading the objects.ini file which I don't believe contains the tree information, but i could be mistaken. So I believe the tree issue may be something else. If a tree fix becomes available please let me know.

Otherwise the map is vast, and appears to be well detailed (whenever the trees and buildings work for me anyway). Overall it is a great concept, and kudos to the team for putting it together.

It might not be, but you see. I have missing trees too, but I dont have every tree missing. Only some random ones, usually in the forests/sides of roads.

Q&A ADDED!!

Yeah, Id be happy with a few trees. Right now it looks like I'll have to wait until StillDre finds a solution. Thanks again for the advice on the other issues.

StillDre said that on some ppl the trees spawned if they added a extra vehicles.img, meaning a added car pack for example. You could try that :)

Are you using Simple Native Trainer v6.4? You need to have that version so that the objects spawn correctly

I have 6.3, as that was the only version I could find for a laptop.

It looks verry good. But i still think GTA V will be even better.

Got everything sorted out. Turns out all I had to do to get 6.4 to work was to change the keys...man I feel stupid.

Now my only gruipe is the invisible trees. 70% will spawn for me, which is fine. Also, upon entrance via the bridge, my frames will drop slightly. However, I did notice there is a boat dock (with a road leading up to one of the main roads) in the northeastern corner. It's a very short distance from the Happiness Island and southern Algonquin.

Does this replace the old GTA IV map? E.g Algonquin, Broker, Alderney etc?

No. It actually adds on to it.
