Does anybody know why, the newest update for lspdfr crashes? ever since the newest lspdfr update came out it crashes when i try selecting a car from the garage or try to play, the Lspdfr has crashed notification pops up.

Upload your latest RagePluginHook log. It’s a text document found in your main directory, not your logs folder.

I believe it has to do with the Chop Shop update with the new police cars, cuz i crash going into the police garage

Rename mods to _mods and try again.

Also, ensure you have the version of LSPDFR that was released to add compatibility for the new police vehicles from the Chop Shop update.

I have the most recent update of LSPDFR, and I did the renaming of the mods folder didn't work, I'm pretty sure its rage containing bugs. Also, the game doesn't crash only the LSPDFR plugin does.

No, it's not a bug in LSPDFR or RAGE. They're doing what they've been told to do. That's why renaming mods to _mods will work here. I honestly would discourage replacing these vehicles and instead using addon vehicles instead - especially as police5 and polgauntlet are attempted to be removed by the game scripts often. Whilst this is patched out by LSPDFR, you will find these do not work unless you are using LSPDFR or a MP vehicle unlock mechanism.

 

However, if you do decide to replace the DLC vehicle police5 and polgauntlet, you'll have to remove the configuration for them in agency.xml to remove is_dlc, livery_multi and use_modkit_liveries. LSPDFR is set up by default to use these vehicles as-is, not your replaced versions.

It's not my mods folder, I created a new one. It's working now, so idk what the problem was.
