As we are talking about a wishlist for 0.5, here is my suggestion: On-foot traffic stops.

Sometimes I'm at a traffic stop and I see something outrageous like a drunk driver, an unworthy road vehicle, and so on. I would love to signal the driver to stop his vehicle so I can go talk to him, without canceling the current traffic stop or needing to enter my car to start a new stop.

There is a gameplay mechanic similar to it in Police simulator: Patrol Officers, where we can use a handheld sign to pullover vehicles on foot.

And it would expand the gameplay possibilities with it, being able to create DUI checkpoints, etc.

  • There is a new version of LSPDFR in the works, the compatibility updates are based on the maintenance branch. What specifically would you like to see in a LSPDFR 0.5?

This has been covered before. It's kinda hard to fix this when GTA V's ai is braindead to begin with. The only thing I can think of is something similar to that mimic feature that Albo1125 had in

@CyanI think adding some of the core Ultimate Backup and Stop The Ped features to LSPDFR would be a good idea. I think that result of the way the plugins have been managed, and now not updated for ove

This.. yes. however it must be stopped or moving extremely slow or under included traffic control.
You can enable the traffic wand also in your config to come out when flagging down a vehicle 🙂
Hope both of us helped!!

Well yeah...there isnt really a way to stop a fast moving car by foot. Both in LSPDFR and real life. 😂

But when you use it with STP, the driver leaves the vehicle where he was stopped, right? What I meant was to signal the driver to pullover while the player is on foot, the driver pulls over and waits inside the car until the player interacts with the ped.

And would be nice to implement features from STP in the base mod, to reduce the community dependency on these massive plugins that had they development ceased/abandoned

There's a way to initiate a stop without the ped exiting the vehicle. You wave an orange flashlight cone (can be toggled in the ini file) and can initiate a traffic stop while on foot. I believe it's the same key as initiating a traffic stop in your vehicle (I have it mapped to my mouse button).

Hi!

I'm so thrilled to know that the works for LSPDFR 0.5 is already rolling. All the more, the staff of the Community is hearing what the community wants to see in the future of LSPDFR. I guess I will take the opportunity as well to chip in a few things I want to see myself.

> Are we like able to add callouts which requires you to investigate and crack puzzles of some sort? (More of like when doing FBI Duty or Detective just so they have something to do)

> I have this thread I have read a few days back and it was discussing the possibility of adding probability on the type of pursuit where it will not always be a high speed chases but also includes regular once (moderate speeds).

> Callouts that will be focus on gang raids or major shootouts to cater deploying SWAT or NOOSE.

> Ability to process suspects in the police station such as pressing charges and taking mugshots etcetera, biometrics and all that stuff to better the immerssion.

> Lastly, update the flash badge to have the option to flash the badge of whichever agency you choose to be on duty for.

I am not sure if any of this stuffs are already implemented as I'm relatively new in the community but yeah, hopefully this things gets considered. 🙂

@Marc03
This cannot be done due to limitations in the textures of the base, unmodded GTA V game. However, you can use this mod to flash a badge different than FIB.
