no, they never release gameplay footage of gta and never will, they like to keep things fresh, so that when you play it its a new experience

This is true, they have NEVER released gameplay footage of any GTA game. All we get is trailers :)

Yep...

But even if they would release gameplay footage, I wouldn't watch it. I would just wait till the game is released and play it myself

In some way i hope they dont release a gameplay. I mean they must be good at the game it would make it look easy and in no way fun +

I think RockStar sucks at playing :P

No, they won't. To be honest with you, its a very smart business tactic that works wonders for them, lets break down what they do;

1. Announce the game with some very basic details

2. Few months later, they release a trailer / teaser

3. Nothing is heard from Rockstar for a good year or so

4. Release Screenshots

5. Few more months pass, second trailer is released

6. Gaming magazines get access to the game and post a fair amount of info

7. Game is released

This has been the course with every main Grand Theft Auto game since Vice City, by limiting what they give to us fans they earn more sales because people WANT to find out more about the game.

Not to mention it doesn't ruin it for anyone, there's tons of things they want YOU to enjoy finding new things.

Hell, just the other day I discovered some new sound effects whilst driving around IV with my headphones on, It goes to show that I'm still finding things to this day in a almost five year old videogame.

And for further proof, here's all the videos released by R* on the GTA series:

Vice City

San Andreas

With IV, they put out more videos for it

As you can see, they never released any gameplay videos

Processor: Intel i5-6600 @ 3.30GHz

GPU: MSI ARMOR GeForce GTX 1080 OC

Ram: 16GB Skylake

I hope they release another trailer and not gameplay. For me it would ruin the experience, as a game I have wanted since it was officially announced, I want to be able to play it blind, meaning I don't know what happens at any point in the game.
