I am running the new version of LSPDFR, and it is working perfectly. Bejoijos mods aren’t updated, but they didn’t interfere with my game. If the game doesn't run or if it crashes, It is standard procedure to remove all plugins and test LSPDFR by itself, at least for me anyway. Or, disable your mods folder or reinstall everything. 

I know I probably say this in every post like this, but I am beyond grateful to be able to enjoy these mods from all developers and mod creators. Thank you so much for the time and effort. Thank you to all of the developers and troubleshooters above.  I’m going off on a tangent, but I’m humbled to be able to play GTA with the best mod out there.

 

At the end of the day, LSPDFR is a mod, mods in general are not perfect. Let’s not go blaming people and instead let’s work together.

Second, stop flexing with your Discord with your 'Support Team' troubleshooting 24/7. If it wasn't for LSPDFR, this Discord wouldn't have been created.

Third, Bejo's mods have an update checker. That means the plugin disables itself when it detects a different version of LSPDFR from what the plugin is optimized for. You can't just blame LSPDFR for that. I mean come on! It's not going to stay as LSPDFR 0.4.7 forever. It's bound to change and It's bound to cause some issues along the way.

I am also very grateful for these mods. There nothing short of amazing. I’m actually grateful for a lot of things and have a big reputation on YouTube for being helpful, courteous, kind, and quick to answer those in need. Ask anyone who watches me.  However, when I’m cornered as I was here tonight, I don’t take lightly to it. I never could stand a bully. I will always be very loving and kind to everyone but when you try and pin me down, i won’t stand for it. I’ll always continue to produce content for my audience using this amazing police mod that was made by those whom I’m sure spend countless hours making and designing these for us in which we all truly do appreciate what you all do here. But, the fact remains, I only wanted to see how the issue was gonna get fixed. Instead, I got mocked, called a liar, and pretty much got spit on because I called out a mod that imo needs some work? Is that not what we’re all here for is to talk and communicate so that we can figure out these issues together? It’s not a community when people are knocking other people. That’s not a community at all. I hope the issue with the new LSPDFR 0.4.8 gets resolved soon. And not once have I ever put out anything false or negative on my channel. That’s just not who I am or what I represent. The vlog I did about LSPDFR was accurate to the best of my knowledge and was coming from a personal view and/or perspective. It might work for some PC’s and others it may not. I’ve seen this happen to many times. There are those who can use certain plugins and Callouts etc and their game runs fine, then there are those who can’t. Anyways, I really do love this mod, but the specific people that I had to deal with in this community tonight, not so much. Have a great night everybody and I hope to see better and newer mods in the future.

That's unfortunate that you see it that way. I was merely pointing out some discrepancies in what Criminal Justice said and provide some insight into what his issue might be rather than just blame LSPDFR outright. I've seen people do it before, and it has gotten to the point of really annoying me.

Non taken at all and I know this about bejoijo mods. He’s my number one favorite modder. Mad respect for that guy! I wasn’t using my discord as a flex, I would never do that, I did it to prove a point that’s all. Nothing more. Nothing less. Testing new mods and LSPDFR itself is all I do man. I’ve been through every kind of trouble shooting process you can go through, I eat, sleep, dream, walk and talk LSPDFR. No that doesn’t mean I know everything about it nor do I have all the answers. But I usually know where the problem is coming from when it comes to MY game personally. So, between what I’ve tested, took out, and put back into the game, it’s telling me that the issue resides in the new LSPDFR 0.4.8. However, I’m sure they’ll get it figured out soon enough. They always do...

I've had more fun playing LSPDFR than the GTA V story mode, online, and any other video game I've ever played. It has infinite replay value. I've played for hundreds of hours, and every shift will bring something different. Each day I will get different callouts and ambient events that unfold differently, and bring me all over the map. When I go on duty, I never know what will happen in my shift, and that's really exciting. I've heard numerous real life cops say that's one thing they love about police work. In that respect, the developers really managed to replicate that into an outstanding gaming experience. 

 

Does anyone know why Bejojo has that self disable feature for his mods? While many of us find it annoying, he probably has his reasons for it. I don't update to a new LSPDFR version until I confirm that Bejojo has updated his mods for the new version. I have been using his mods for so long, I can't play without them.

That doesn't address whatsoever the question of why they won't load if you're on a newer version of LSPDFR than they were built against - especially a newer minor version such as 0.4.7 -> 0.4.8. It would be trivially easy to have the version checker display a warning that the version hasn't been tested and isn't guaranteed to work, but still allow the mod to load with a warning. Any excuses about it generating excessive support requests are clearly misguided when you look at the sheer volume of complaints and support requests generated by the version lock itself. I offered to Bejoljo an example of how I check versions of dependencies for my mods to provide warnings without locking people out, and he thanked me by banning me from his discord server for the audacity to suggest a simple solution to his self-imposed issue.

I'm just passing on the information that I am given. Although, kinda figured something like this would be said. I tried looking into the document that can be found on his Discord, but there wasn't much more in regards to the question asked. 

I finally got 0.4.8 to work does any plugins work for this update EUP is what I’m asking I know the other mods won’t work right now

In theory, any mod that worked with 0.4.7 that doesn't have a mod-disabling version checker should still work.

Works great for me but disabled STP and Ultimate Backup which wasn't a big issue since LSPDFR lets you stop peds and call for backup, my game never crashed or froze, all callouts were working and only Grammar Police and Immersive Backup plugins were working. The intimidate action gets stuck though, I wasn't able undo it and do other actions until I went in my car. You could play 0.48 without most plugins and don't have an issue
