Is there a K-9 callout

Just wondering if there is a k9 call out pack or if a callout pack had some k9 calls in it?

United Callouts has a backup call for K9. You can also use StopThePed to do K9 patrols and get back with K9's via Ultimate Backup.

I haven't found any surprisingly, but once I update my callout pack I intend to make a large one to fill the void, we really need some k9 callouts!

That would be most awesome! i was surprised to find that too! i try and do K-9 patrols but the poor dog ends up in the car most of the time!  Looking forward to that!

Depending on your roleplay level while playing LSPDFR, you can take an K9 unit while on a Traffic Stop if the ped doesn't give consent to search their vehicle.

I personally use RP-X for this purpose, it adds several questions on StopThePed that can add a lot of immersion to your game.

So If a pad doesn't consent to a search a vehicle, you can call a K9 to sniff the vehicle and give you cause to search it.

Is there even a K9 mod to use anymore. I downloaded the dog, but I can't figure out how to use him in game.

Is it only usable on calls from United Callouts? I saw some tutorials and they just spawned the K9 from Ultimate Backup, and I don't have any option to use a K9 with mine.

I believe so. Im not exactly sure how the K9 feature works with Ultimate Backup. I would need to find more info on that.

Ok, thanks for your help. I'm just getting frustrated because I got one of the K9 cars, and all decked out in K9 gear, and every video I'm seeing is just going to UB and clicking to the left on the code line and it goes to K9 controls. And I can't figure out how or where to get this added on to UB. Everyone just keeps saying just use UB.

You could check the documentation for UB to see if it has any info.

Just looked through the .ini and it says T, and DPadLeft. Neither work. Either I'm doing something wrong or something isn't installed correctly. 

I've been working on this for over three hours. I'm getting so frustrated I think it's time for me to give up for the night.

EDIT: Are Ultimate Backup and Police Backup the same thing? I just realized it says Police Backup at the top when I pull it up in game. It gives me all the backup options and code 2-3 etc. But says Police Backup at the top. I even went through my files and don't see Police Backup anywhere. Just Ultimate Backup.

Police Backup is the default one that comes with LSPDFR. Ultimate Backup has a different one I believe. You may want to disable the default one and make sure you have Ultimate Backup installed correctly.

OMG, I can't believe I missed this. I got it working now. It's B on the keyboard, then left on my controller takes me to K9. Thanks so much. 

However when I hit B it also brings up Police Backup at the same time and they overlap. I would  imagine this is just a key binding thing. I'll mess with it tomorrow. I can finally relax now that I got my little buddy helping me on the beat!

I don't think that's UB

There was this K-9 mod by NoNameSet that is for some reason off the site. I managed to download it before it got taken down and it has a menu with all the commands etc. for a K-9.

The overlapping can be fixed by going to the lspdfr>keys.ini and search for Backup Menu and replace the keybinding 'B' with 'None'
