Hey there guys, my first topic so bear with me please, first off i would just like to say thank you the the dev team for this mod, i greatly appreciate it and im sure so does the modding comunity and all rp ppl who want to play as an officer

Any ways onto my suggestions, i play as realistic as possible, that means i actually drive in the model as the cop to the station that i act like i work act specifically,change stations, buy stuff, you get the idea, anywas where im going with this is that, yes, it is hard to live on a police salary, but not as bad as lcpd, you have to live off the stuff you do, this makes it really hard, since, you might not always be doing stuff that gets you money, for example tickets, so, i think it would be great if you guys could implement a salary, and you have to clock in so many hours on duty to receive your pay check, and even make it on a certain day like Friday, im not sure, i just think it would help out ppl like me who play like this, and even, (im not sure if you can or want to implement this, but after all it is a suggestion topic) make ranks, like noose, fbi, sergeant of a certain station, etc etc. and difrent jobs have difrent pay, again just throwing out there, one last thing, can you please fix where if you try to arrest them on the street, they just walk away? its really hard to arrest them, and ( im not sure if you guys have time to do this, or can) fix the AI, there pretty idiotic, but again, if you don't want to im not going to complain, im already extremely thank full for this mod, Tell me what you guys think, Thanks, JAM. :thumbsup:

I'm sorry sir, but to me this mod is basically an add-on to GTAIV. For me, It is not meant as a new game nor as a simulator of police life.

Might i suggest other than a "Gun light" Like by pressing H you have your Pistol and it becomes a light too. Might i suggest adding a button where you call pullout your flashlight from your belt and aim it somewhere instead of having to pull out your gun for a flashlight

I suggest that they put a breathilizer for drunk pepole that we pull over and if the are over .08 in ohio. But I dont know about all of the other states. And then you can arrset them for a dui (driving under influnce)

now that theres a topic, id like to thank every 1 this mod is past amazing. and every 1 did a good job.

1) an idea for suicidal subject. make them a jumper(suicidal on the bridge with a knife or somethin) u gotta try to talk them down and not aim unless they draw a weapon or become a threat. if u fail they jump and die. if u aim at them u scare them and they fall accidently or jump. if u even wanted make like 1 outa 10 servive the jump or somethin and u have a time limit to get them out of the water(police boat standing by) and thn u can arrest them and/or have ems treat before

Although once I solved the problem by combining the two police fashion. LCPD FR and Police Pursuit Mod then partner becomes aggressive AND you in the offense does not, But there is one but. Lost many of the functions of LCPDFR.

Added would have the opportunity to travel to the site of the police of several arrested. For example, if you see that there is a fight on, why it is necessary to choose whom to arrest, and who is not? I have so it is impossible to arrest the two immediately. On both put on the handcuffs, and after this function F9 F10 and F11 for transportation of suspects in the plot do not work.

You have to leave them to the mercy of fate.

I wonder if its possible to make a segway? Since the game is so intricate, i find myself walking around just looking. Nothing fancy, just somthing to move around the city. It could be in the trunk availible for low speed use to avoid traffic.

Arrest both, deal with one and then arrest the first criminal again. That way you can deal with both.

It would be hard to make as the game doesn't already have a basic model for one. You may be able to use a motorbike model but I'm not sure how you would get them to stand.

how about adding cpr saves to statistics?

Not a bad idea actually. That would certainly cover the 'protect' part of 'protect and serve'.

I would also like to give my gratitude and thanks towards the LCPDFR staff for their excellent mod and support!

I can't start my own post on this board for some reason, so I am replying them to a related post. Here are a couple of suggestions that I have to add to the discussion:

1) Callouts with locations closest to you rather than in set places are much more fun to deal with, not to mention more realistic. In the latest version, I have to drive halfway across the city sometimes!

2) Have the police be able to make traffic stops and arrest random NPC. I know that the game has regular people disturbing the peace and running from the police, but it'd be nice to see other cops make traffic stops besides me. Especially since all those sporty cars tend to run the red lights anyway!

3) Your partner should be more responsive. In the 0.95 beta, your partner would protect you from most bad guys. Now, he'll only shoot once in a while, and most likely die because he doesn't protect himself. When you open your trunk, it should heal and clean the clothes of your partner too! (That for yourself only was already an excellent addition, BTW.)

4) In the latest mod, while pressing "E" to arrest someone, nearby cops will teleport out of their police cars. When they are in motion, they look like they are flying out of their windshield and into the street! This did not happen with the other mods, where your partner will reappear somewhere everytime you arrest someone. Just an annoying bug that appears hard to get rid of!

5) When performing CPR, your character drops down on his knees twice, and upon the second time he will say something. Can it be adjusted to only drop down once and still say his line?

6) The newest update brings with it a new taser. I have a question about the taser addon itself. What happens if I am using custom weapons.img and weaponsinfo.xml files due to modded weapons and modded weapon statistics? Which file(s) and/or value(s) would I need to add/change to use the taser?

1) there are still close callouts i get them alot and those drive me nuts, ppl complain cus they are 2 close like a block away. ppl and me want to fly to get to a scene its no fun usuing ur lights and sirens for 10 seconds and if u ever watch cops they arent close to the call just in a general area of it and they get there quick( they are doin like 60 lol)

2) u can arrest anyone u want and if u aim at them and press 3 they become wanted.

3) idk i nvr pick a partner i roll solo :p

4) iv never had taht issue so i cnat rly help cus i have half an idea wat ur talkin bout lol

5) i totally agree whn im tryin to revive a team member during a shootout i ussualy end up dying cus i cant stop doing the anim and he goes down twice

6) it doenst matter. i have a modded weaponsinfo and weapons and its fine, the taser is the UNUSED 1 or somethin like that on the weapons info should be the 1st 1 or last 1 on the file. to use it or hoster it on your belt press alt+T

I know Suggestions has been Freezed but this wont hurt. Few Suggestion have been missed or i dont know. Here is my suggestion that will make the LCPDFR more realistic..

Stop Light/stop on foot : Stop vehicles Behind Completed and car wont over take or move at all unless told. Same in Foot ,Stop traffic the way we stop the Direction.

Traffic Stop on Foot: I seen Reckless Drivers trying to overtake while i have pulled over a vehicle. it would be nice to pull over on foot as well while already pulling someone over with SHIFT. Example: it will be Twice Pulling over a vehicle.

Command Vehicle to Chase a Vehicle: Example if i pulled over some vehicle and i see some nut driver hit and run ,i can point at the vehicle and Press Key (Any Key that Assigned) will make any police vehicle near me -chase that vehicle as a Wanted and get him arrested.

Assist Traffic Stop Officer: their is a Place where you can see an Vehicle pulled over by a Police Vehicle Searching his vehicle ,Calls like this can be fun. you park behind police vehicle or Use Stop Light to make vehicles stopped ,etc. or Make Vehicle go otherside (Seems Impossible).

Control Police Vehicle: It will be nice if you can make an Police Vehicle Follow you. (Possible they may also hit you). More Controls in Future ,Like Make vehicle stop at any point like using backup in traffic stop,etc.

Magic Tow Truck: Point on a vehicle and it will make a Vehicle Disappear in 1 minute (so look somewhere and tada car is gone).

Illegally Parking Alert: While giving the Parking ticket ,it will be Nice if we can actually move that vehicle by some Key,i dont know. Like Ped will come over and move the vehicle like its his/her vehicle. Example you see vehicle near Bus stop ,and you go behind the vehicle ,you turn the siren on/off and suddently Peds comes over and turn the car on and leaves or stop the driver after for some talk ? .

tow truck has been suggested a million times and prob wont be seen :( its so much script work gta 4 doesnt even have a towtruck model some sound cool. i like traffic stop assist callout idea

I think it would be good if you could just get the vehicles to disappear when you press a certain key, just like you can with SNT. That way you could clear the area after a chase.
