Is there any way to bind the computer to another key other than "action"?
If i get killed (no car at hospital) or I loose my car after taking a train to patrol stations, (car dissapeared after i returned to the train station) I have no legal way of getting back to a local precinct other than walk. And I always take a cab to the precienct from my apartment, much faster when i set the waypoint and skip animation, but the "E" option does not work after i go on duty, or back off duty. Hey, convenience costs $$ lol

Is there any way to bind the computer to another key other than "action"?
Im trying to get the taxi to work in the game while in the mod and I think Im down to the action key being taken over by the mod. Changing action from E to somthing else does not work, the mod uses whatever the action key is. Is there a way to get the Mod to use another key for computer? Thanks

Always install .net even if it says you dont need to
Hmm, well if a new version of diag. or installer is ever released, maybe a disclaimer could be added next to the word "OK" that "extended version is still required even if .Net is detected" or somthing like that. just a suggestion.....it may help people get up and running faster

LCPDFR won't work
I was just told it required the extended version, not the client version, doublecheck what you downloaded if you havent, I bet thats it, because it simply was not catching that scriphook until i installed that. Also you dont have the additional information "BEGIN .NET SCRIPTHOOK LOG" in your diagnostic report, just like i didnt. Your close to having it running. that .net i think is the key.

LCPDFR won't work
Try downloading and re installing NET Framework 4.0 , I had the exact same issue even tho it said it was up to date. It worked for me.

Always install .net even if it says you dont need to
Just thought Id let anyone who downloads the mod know that I ran into an issue where the mod would not start, I used the G17 diagnostic program which said that my .net files checked out good and were all up to date. Well, after trying to figure out the problem for almost 2 days, i downloaded MS .net framework 4.0 anyway and it worked. Maybe this will save someone some time.

How does the game determine your starting position if using xliveless?
Hi, I brought the game just to play the mod and Ive been using the mod for several days, and after fine tuning the installation i really enjoy it. But i dont understand how the game works with determining where you are spawned when first starting the game. Im trying to call a taxi while on patrol but based on previous posts, you have to progress to a certain point in the storyline before taxis are availible. Ive only progressed to taking the girl to the bowling alley and comming back home to watch TV before i started installing the mod. Right now after installing the mod, I am spawned in the apartment, then I run down the stairs to the street and then to the police station before going on duty. Is there a way I could download another file that will allow me to be further in game play so i can call a Taxi? Even if i play the game to the point where i can call a taxi, how does the lcpdfr mod know thats where i left off if i dont log into windows live? Im using the xliveless file because its more stable.
