Lag on duty

Featured Replies

Hello guys, when I`m off duty my game is on 60 fps and more but when i start duty my fps drop to myb 20. Do you know some plugins who drop fps? And i have only i think 3 cars mode (in off duty mode no lags).

Losing FPS when going on duty is normal for everyone.  There's only a small, select group of people who can run modded GTA and still maintain decent fps.

What you can do is try and remove some of your LSPDFR plugins and callouts, but then you run into the issue of having less callouts.  Personally, I just suffer through the FPS loss - I'd rather have a variety of callouts as opposed to just four or five that get old quickly.

I need donations to help fund my food addiction. DM for details 😂

Ooh, okay. Ty fo help.  I noticed that some plugins cause some fps drops but I can`t find which.  So I create new topic to ask 😄

8Gb of RAM isn't good and not a lot either. Especially if it's DDR3.
The 1GB VRAM GPU also isn't good at all.

You should consider upgrading.

You need help but aren't sure what you need to do / where you can get help?

Not meaning to bump an old post, but how do other YouTubers manage to get their game to run LSPDFR so smooth? I used to run it really smooth a couple of years ago - and with the latest versions it seems like there's some ridiculous lag? I have taken every plugin out and ran LSPDFR alone, the lag starts when I go on duty - so possibly something to do with the core API? Not sure. but this is a mystery I'd like solved as a lot of people are complaining about low FPS in police patrols now 😕

P.S. nothing to do with the graphics, trust me on that 🙃

I've noticed that After 0.47 when the added the Lost Suspect Chase back, which basically is when the suspect is lost but if you spot him again your automatically engaged in a pursuit. With backup If you report him aswell.. I not a massive fan of this feature in the first place, but I have noticed for me it causes extraordinary Lag when the suspect is found again. I've been attempting to find the specified passage in an INI but i cant find it, as im trying to disable it. Im not sure if this will fix it, but its worth a try 🙂

You'll need to add this in the LSPDFR INI yourself.

Ambient.DisableEscapedSuspectEncounter = false

Well speaking of lags. From my experience since the first 0.4 released, it's all about your PC specs and your GTA V graphic settings. In addition to that, eliminate any out-dated callouts and plugins, and limit the numbers of callouts you're installing can really boost the performance. I usually get 50 FPS in the city and 60 in county.  I run this in 4k resolution with an i9 . LSPDFR is a really memory hungry mod that requires a lot from your PC, especially with all the plugins.

I seen youtubers with RTX 2080 TI get only 40 fps.

Hate to bump an old thread but I have that card and mine runs like shit when on duty. 120fps off duty and like 80 on. Dipping to 50-70 when on base calls without any plugins. Maybe some ini tweaks could help? I fixed NVE from it's shit FPS. I wish I could look at the code in LSPDFR so mess with it.
