Love the new update, finally someone calling it the correct way instead of a Ford Explorer, also really like the new doors, glad to know we are starting to get a updated interior!

I can't seem to install this one. I have replaced both the police3 files and edited the carvariations file but when I click on them I can see the model being correct and everything but when I go ingame and use the police3 vehicle it still uses the old model.

Anything I can try? Thanks.

Be sure you changed the police3 model in the most recent update folder that police3 may be in, go to OpenIV, Tools --> Search --> then search for police3.ytd and make sure the one you replaced on that list of results is the newest patch otherwise it'll still be loading the most recent police3 model that you may have not overwritten yet.

The reverse lights are too bright..

@jusromaine1 Use openIV, tools->search-> vehicle name, once you find the vehicle location, you can right click the vehicle file and copy to or show in mods folder, this is so you don't replace the original files, so the game loads the mods instead.

basically inside of the vehicles.meta file, there's a sirensettings for each model, if the model is police4 for example, you'd change the sirensettings to change the light config. Try sirensettings 13

Don't use that actual line, but you could definitely try it. You just need to change the sirensettings for that vehicle.

im using the explorer in fbi2. It works fine but the handling is bad. Is there anything i need to change in the carvariations.meta for fbi2?

Hi, try to change handlingId line in vehicles.meta like this:

<handlingId>POLICE3</handlingId>

Is there any way to tone down some of the bloom? I'm using the Improved Spotlight and LED by GravelRoadCop which makes the vanilla police cars have much better lighting, but with this model, the light is so bloomed I can barely see where I am driving. I like using the Explorer, but I  can barely use it at night. I can't post a pic because the website is not letting me.

What vehicle slot is this optimized for? I'd love to use it for FBI2 or Sheriff2, but from what I can tell it isn't designed for either of those.

Where would that texture go? In the same area as the car mod itself? And thanks for the reply

in the model .ytd file, save the texture as arjent_emis.png and replace arjent_emis in that file.

I'm having a problem with the police3 slot. I have the explorer in the police3 slot yet the handling is terrible. It flips overs during corners, flips upside down if I hit something in front of it, I've never had this problem before. any ideas whats causing it guys?
