For installation instructions look up on internet there are a lot of tutorials.
I don't answer installation questions about where to install. the latest update pack.
there are so many explanations about it.

Install carcols in the meta otherwise it won't work.

 

When Using this car on another slot. Goto Carvariations and change the sirensettings to the value of of the carcols id. or change the carcols id.
For amber lights replace the cv_interior in the YTD with the .dds file provided in the rar.
It has multiple extra set-ups to use.  

 

As many requested, a LSPD CVPI mx7000/Arjent s2 version.

Copy this .PNG file below in the police.ytd file copy over the arjent_emis.png in the patchday4 vehicles.rpf, this should sort out the colour problem for you...

I downloaded this and I followed the installation instructions, but there is no police in patchday4ng, only a police3. did i miss something?

It doesn't matter you can still put it there and it'll work.

no, the files are named police.yft, police.ytd, etc. So unless you rename them to police3, it won't be replacing anything. Then if you want to revert to the original police, you can just delete the police.yft, etc from patchday4ng. 

Alternatively you can replace the files in x64e.rpf

I have an issue, if I remove the spotlight accessory, the spotlight texture just floats in the air. I installed the file into patchday4ng but I'm not sure what's causing the problem.

Yeah, spotlight corpus spawns only as extra 11.

BTW, what is extra 3? It appears nothing.

Hi, very nice model.  Question about the mx7000 light bar... For some reason it does not display properly for me.  Instead of lights, I see random boxes popping up in the lightbar itself.  I can take pictures to show it better.  Anyways I can fix it since I might be the only one with this issue?  Thanks!

I assume you mean something similar to what's shown in this video.

You need to add an entry in the carvariations.meta located in mpluxe2 for police (As you can't access the game's existing carvariations entries), specifically the following:

Excellent model, i am using both the arjent and mx7000 together however the mx7000 light bar is exhibiting a glitch when it is activated. When the light bar is on abnormal mesh blocks appear above glass (possibly part of the arjent). Is there a specific carvariations file that this mod depends on? It is possible i could have accidentally replaced it when installing another mod and i just need the location of that file so i can replace it with the original. Thank you

The non-steel wheel model download is broke. It says 10 megs, but when it downloads it only downloads about 3 megs. File ONLY contains the police.ytd
THe steel wheel version seems fine.

Is there a way to fix the front of the spotlight always there even if the rest of the spotlight is missing...? That's the only think keeping me for using this mod right now...

Did you find a solution for that? Also my dashboard lights are white, not green.

Yes, the mod only works with the original carvariations. I downloaded a firetruck which included a modded carvariations and it broke the cop car mod. Since you cant have your cake and eat it too, I chose not to use the firetruck so I could stick with the police cars.
