You can follow by clicking the Follow button in the top-right of this page and it will notify you of any update.

Anyways, I'm currently testing the fix, so if everything works fine the update should be between today and tomorrow.

@carter johnston Are you using the latest version (1.1)? If so, can you post your RagePluginHook.log with the crash?

@alexguirre,

The spotlight stopped loading with the new update of rage. I can get you a picture of the error if you would like. It was working before the update. Like my game doesn't crash the plugin just won't load.

Install the latest version, 1.2

If that doesn't work, attach your RagePluginHook.log.

In your General.ini file, have  you set the Method setting under the Controller section to None? If you have, that's the cause, if you want to disable the controller  controls just change the ControllerControlsEnabled setting under the Controls section to false

And @ericcelrosu the latest version(1.2) works for the current version of the game.

And I hope to upgrade this mod to be more realistic,I mean to make the helicopter spotlight to rotate like when are used by npcs and probably to track the vehicle by moving around it,you know. And it will be great after that to make the air support unit to have swat members on both sides and to shoot the suspect. And to make the spotlight to be used easily add an option to track the wanted driver or ped. And the last thing to make the other cops spawned by the game near police stations, on the airport or the highway to react aganist the suspect in a close range. And if all of this are done we can say that we can become a cop npc.

Yes I did but it was the same with the previous version. And I want to have controller setting as turned on because I like to turn on the spotlight with it, just control with keypad. Oh well I will just put "leftstick" there then. Thanks. I will see if that works and if it doesn't I will come back here.

Everything works great with the newest update but I had one little hiccup I can't seem to fix. After enabling the spotlight I cannot use the keyboard numbpad keys to move the light. I put false for controller use settings, and was wondering why its not letting me move the spotlight once its on, any help is greatly appreciated!

Does this work for FiveM?

Alot of times if i aim for straight infront of the car its so dim, but when i aim at passenger side or driver side its perfect.  Dont understand how to fix this.

Hi, Looks like this script make the game crash since the last update. Anybody have the same issue ?

aite so hears my Rage Plugin Paste log my game keeps crashing when I press F11 and I know my EditorKey method is the insert button but for some reason, the plugin doesn't recognize this and still uses F11, everything on my game is updated and it only happens after opening the menu the 3rd/ 4th time etc etc. This has happened in twice now PM if you want me to do anything else or test it out a few times more to generate other crash logs.

Hey i changed the open menu button to * but it still uses f11, i changed this because when im in the middle of something it opens the menu and stops me from being able to drive for a bit, ive changed it and made the settings changed but it still reacts to f11, please help.

If you want the "*" key in the numpad, change it to "Multiply". Here you can see a list of key names: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.windows.forms.keys(v=vs.110).aspx#Anchor_1
