Works well! Nice mod, congrats on the release -- but you might want to fix a small thing in your code. It parses ini values using the system's current culture. On locales where , is the decimal separator and . is a thousands separator (pt-BR, de-DE, es-ES, most of Europe/Latin America), a value like 0.002 is misread as 2 (dot treated as a thousands grouping mark), not 0.002. Every float value in [Visual]/[Laser] is affected and it produces crazy visuals like these.

If you parse ini floats with float.TryParse(raw, NumberStyles.Float, CultureInfo.InvariantCulture, out value) instead of relying on ScriptSettings.GetValue<float>'s culture-dependent parsing, it'll solve this :)

I wanted to ask: any possibility of making a function or ability to include addon tasers, or an ability to manually add weapons to a list that adds the barbs? I ask because i have a few stungun/tasers that I have created into addon DLCs for SP, but they seem to not work with this mod (I assume since the taser addons are not named "w_pi_stungun".

Sweet plugin. One suggestion, though. When the prongs attach, the person gets tased indefinitely until I release them with Backspace. It’s not a big problem, but it would be nice if the stun only lasted 5 seconds, with a separate keybind to reactivate it while the prongs are still attached to the ped.

edit, i just saw the showcase which doesn't have that problem. so that may just be a bug on my end.

I’m not sure whether that symptom is a bug, but the idea of automatically de-energising the system and then re-stunning the subject with a specific key whilst the electrode needle is still inserted might be a good one.

Good Idea but please keep in mind that plugins like Kinetic already have a taser cycle function so please make it where you can turn it off in the ini if you add that function so people like me who use Kinetic or I think smart taser wont have conflict issues. Thanks!

This is great but for some reason when I tase someone with this they become invincible

That conflict prevention feature is important.
