SWLCallouts
These callouts have been designed and coded with realistic events on repeat (no 1 event is the same - multiple different scenarios).
SWLCallouts is compatible with Stop The Ped, Grammar Police & Open All Interiors.

PLEASE TAKE IT EASY ON ME, I AM A BEGINNER CODER FOR LSPDFR. I know LUA coding but this is the first time trying to work with C#.

Overview

  • This callout plugin brings a wide range of callouts with similar real-life situations.
  • A large majority of calls have a witness or suspect, which you need to speak with (dialogue included - refer to keybinds below in Customisation area)
  • Every callout has a different outcome with possibilities for more variety realism.
  • Within this pack we are hoping to by the end of it have a whopping 56 varied and realistic police callouts for LSPDFR.
  • A lot of callouts have different vehicles, weapons and peds to have more realism.
  • All callouts have several, if not infinite locations to ensure to spread the love and add realism to the pack.
    • Be aware that some callouts will use specific locations to ensure more realistic locations.
      In other words, a bank robbery won't happen at a 24/7 store. And a disturbance call won't be at a police station.
    • For ease and to ensure you constantly have a mixture of callouts, all callouts have a location-choosing system to help get the location closest to the Player(you). This makes it so you don't have to travel to Sandy Shores if you are patrolling in the City.

Getting Started

Requirements

  • LSPD First Response 0.4.9 (or higher)
  • RAGE Plugin Hook 1.95 (or higher)
  • A legal copy of GTAV (Retail, Epic Games or Steam)

 

Installation

  1. Copy the folder "plugins" into your main game directory (check that the folder 'SWLCallouts' is in "Grand Theft Auto V\plugins\LSPDFR").
  2. Copy the folder "lspdfr" into your main game directory (check that the folder 'SWLCallouts Audio' is in "Grand Theft Auto V\lspdfr\audio\scanner").

 

Customisation

  • This plugin adds a hotkey for dialogues and for forcing your current callout to end.
    • "Y" for speaking to a suspect. (You'll get a notification when you must talk to a suspect)
    • "END" to force your current callout to end (In some cases, you may want to end the callout by yourself).
    • You can change both keybinds in the "SWLCallouts.ini" file.
  • Option to enable/disable the callouts you want in the "SWLCallouts.ini" file (All callouts enabled by default).
    • You may want to use this option to avoid some callouts you don't want to play.
    • You may find that disabling a callout helps with gameplay crashes, so we made it easier for that.
  • Option to enable/disable automatic AI backup responding to the callout with the Player(you) in the "SWLCallouts.ini" file.
    • This option allows realistic AI units to respond to certain callouts at the same time as the Player(you). This means a local unit won't respond to a gang fight. Note: If the Player(you) is in a pursuit, you'll get help from local units and an air unit instead of a SWAT team or something random.

 

Want to stay up to date?

SWLCallouts has a version control system to let you know when SWLCallouts or LSPDFR has been updated.
NOTE: You can still play with SWLCallouts at your own risk. It's always recommended to update to the latest build.

SWLCallouts may have issues when LSPDFR gets an update that changes parts of it's API. -- Please notify us if this happens.

 

FAQ / More info

  • I crash when I load a certain callout, what should I do?
    • We are aware of a "Rage.Ped" error, and this should be fixed, if not please report and supply you log file. You should only experience it once every blue moon, if it happens more often though, please consider editing the .ini file and changing the callout that's causing a problem to "false".
  • Someone told me due to an issue that I should remove SWLCallouts, should I?
    • No. If you have an issue or an error showing that is related to my callouts then please contact me and let me know.
  • Can I contribute a suggestion/idea?
    • Absolutely, please either comment with your suggestion/s or join my brand new Discord server to suggest ideas.

I thought I better mention you being your community inspired me to give this a go, oh and I use your bot a lot for help, especially if I don't understand the .log haha.

On top of that reading all the support channels and help docs in your Discord I thought I'd try to give it a go myself.

Thanks for the kind words, I am only new at this although I do have hope that I can grow this. I know that the calls are currently very basic but to let you in on something, I am working on a full rewrite of the code thanks to some help and hoping to have that released soon. 😀

hey man love the callouts so far but unfortunately my game crashed the second I accepted the "Welfare check" callout. kinda sucks cause I love doing those types of callouts but I also read you are new to coding C# and nice job man I did the person with a knife and it was as good as it can get! love it but no rush.

Sorry for the delay, thanks for the comment and letting us know the issue you faced.

I have a fix for the crashes that have been reported and a complete rewrite of the code coming out this weekend.

It's been a lot of work but I have been trying to fix all the issues with the new code and have been a little stuck so I have this weekend currently available to fix the last few things and release an update, I was hoping to release it last week but had too many crashes and I didn't want to release it broken.

 

If possible, after my update, if you face any issues or crashes could you take a screenshot of your F4 console where the error shows or send us your .log file. This is so I can have a look into the issues easier and help for a faster resolution, that would be great, you can do this either by PMing me on the website here or you can contact me on Discord.

Hey @Benjamiin, These are already unique in their own ways as I don't believe there is a callout script released with a welfare check that may have an armed person on scene with subtitles/dialog. Although, I have some callouts I am working on that are not like the usual callouts you see in every other pack so bare with me whilst I make those. I already had these callouts in the making and that's why I published with them.
In the meantime, Do you have any specific suggestions that I could create that you would like to see? I had a suggestion given to me the other day which I am currently working on for my next release as it's easier to code than the others I have in mind. Hope to hear from you soon, you are welcome to PM me your suggestions for callouts.

I would echo what has been said about making callouts unique. Looking at the list of callouts it looks very similar to many other callout packs out there. You can change the dialogue/circumstances but they will generally have the same theme. Try adding calls that are handled by real world cops and aren't covered by other packs, they don't have to be gang shootout/high speed chase/other extreme scenarios, they can be relatively mundane but still evolve into something much bigger, as they do in the real world.

Compared to other callouts out there, I feel like this one will give me the best of the best when it comes to immersion and experience. I am downloading this now, and I will 100% leave a rating on how well I feel with this callout plugin. Not sure what it is, but this one seems it will give some serious good immersion play. I am a very serious dude when it comes to LSPDFR bring a some-what 1:1 replica to real life.

@Scottywonderfulthanks for reply, tryed it and uninstalled it, couldnt even try it out, when im ingame and have loaded lspdfr then i use Forceduty and the callout makes LSPDFR crash.

Hey @eazbox, That seems to be an issue with my plugin check code. I'm not exactly sure what's causing that issue although I am determined to get this fixed so you and anyone else having this issue can get this fixed. So, to help me out a bit further, if you'd like to, do you have discord? if so, if you join my server I would like to test a quick hotfix with you to see if I can fix that issue once and for all. Hey @eazbox, I have found the problem with this and have a fix being released soon to rectify, keep an eye out for the next update!

I'm not sure what you mean by this, Is this happening in SWL Callouts?

I don't have a bomb call out but I am attempting to fix all my bugs, just been busy, an update will be hopefully be out before the end of this month.

this pack has been crashing my game and thats unfortunate but after reading the comments about an update so for now im taking it out but i love this pack. its very immersive and keeps things going! Cant wait for the fix 😁
