What does RTS Do?

Riskier Traffic Stops (RTS) Is designed to bring more variety to your basic and mundane traffic stops.

 

Current Outcomes

The current included outcomes are as follows:

  • Get Out and Shoot - The suspect(s) get out and open fire on you and other officers

  • Flee - The suspect(s) flee from the traffic stop either in their vehicle or on foot

  • Yell - The suspect gets out of their vehicle and yells at you (3 Possible Sub-Outcomes)

  • Ramming - The suspect reverses into your vehicle before fleeing from the traffic stop

  • Shoot and Flee - The suspect(s) open fire on you from their vehicle and then flee from the traffic stop

  • Spit - The suspect spits at you from their vehicle

  • Get Out RO (Random Outcome) - The suspect exits the vehicle, and reaches. They might pull a:

    • Gun

    • Knife

    • Phone

    • Each has 2-3 sub-variations

 

Configurable in-game via the F4 menu -> RtsOpenConfigMenu.

 

Requirements

Fully compatible with ImmersiveAmbientEvents and RansomAmbience!

What's New in Version 3.3.3

Released

Update 3.3.3

  • Added more safety nets for CDF
  • Fixed issues reported since last update (hopefully)

If you experience any issues with the new chancing systems, please let me know, as this is still mildly experimental, but should be entirely stable.

 

Update 3.3.2

  • Added Dependency checks for CDF
  • Made it so RTS will wait for CDF to load before finishing loading
  • Added more null checks to hopefully resolve crashing issues

Update 3.3.1

  • Removed RandomChance Setting
  • Added new Suspect Based chancing (Now the default chancing method)
    • Ignores your set chance value and does chancing based on suspect and vehicle data (example, if the suspect is wanted there's a much higher likely hood they'll shoot at you, but if it's something like expired insurance it's more likely to be a tame outcome, such as YellInCar)
    • For more information on how Suspect data based chancing works, see the Chancing Documentation
  • Added CommonDataFramework (CDF) dependency (included in download)
  • Updated INI to have the new Risk Chancing values.

If you experience any issues with the new chancing systems, please let me know, as this is still mildly experimental, but should be entirely stable.

FOR THIS UPDATE YOU MUST UPDATE YOUR INI FILE WITH THE NEW CHANCING SECTION, FAILURE TO DO SO WILL CAUSE ISSUES.

Is it possible to make a possibility for suspects to continue shooting when you get the "shoot and flee" outcome. Or maybe a chance for them to shoot when you put their car to a stop during the pursuit. Since all the times I got this outcome they just surrender peacefully.

love this mod. does anyone have a recommended frequency of the event happening. I am not having any events at 15 which is the default in the INI but I don't want every traffic stop to have an event. Thank you!!

Increase it to about 45-50 max

It is compatible? Shouldn't have any issues. The only conflict is the STP resistance system for traffic stops which can be disabled.

I would bring it from 25-50 depending on how frequent you want them to happen. You can always change it while playing with the ingame config menu (Accessed by using the console, type in 'RTS' and you should see it).

It won't break anything, had to push a scrambled update mid development due to a major issue. All that does is add some extra logging. I'll fix that next patch.

is the mod actually stable now? last time I had it (few weeks ago, still have nightmares of the lspdfr plugin sound when it crashes) it was more unstable than chernobyl

To make it compatible with stp do I just set the suspect resist percent to 0 in the STP ini?

Yep, just disable them resisting on traffic stops.

So i downloaded this right had some traffic stops got to thinking this isn't working nothing is happening i pull over someone and he gets out with a micro smg and scares me to death. i love this plugin this is a must have
