Kuchera Callouts v2.0.2.1 by againstallodds

General

Kuchera Callouts is designed to be a highly replayable LSPDFR callout pack, allowing players to build upon the provided scenarios and use other modifications to further enhance scenes, investigations, and day-to-day police work. This callout pack offers a range of high-intensity calls that will have players seeking cover, as well as regular day-to-day calls that a typical police officer might encounter. Some callouts might seem high-intensity upon response, only for players to later discover that the suspects have already fled the scene. Customization options are available, letting players edit the included .ini file to modify police vehicle models, peds, and callout activation.

Two Versions

  • Base - No other mods or callouts required, perfect for a more vanilla experience.
  • Callout Interface [new] - You will need to download and install callout interface  first, in order for this callout pack to work.

Please feel free to join to make suggestions, share screenshots, reports bugs, or play games. I will also be releasing versions of this mod on the discord for beta testing before releasing the final product here.

Key Features

  • Replay Factor This callout pack has a vast number of coordinates and potential outcomes to ensure replayability. Every situation can end differently; even when you believe a situation is resolved, the suspect might surprise you.
  • Enhanced Interactions [new] - Instead of having players repeatedly press the 'Y' button to progress through a memorized chat dialog, I've incorporated a range of randomized one-liners that suspects might say upon your arrival. These give hints on how to navigate each situation. While your imagination will guide your investigations, I recommend using this callout pack alongside other LSPDFR mods like Stop The Ped and Ultimate Backup. Although they're not mandatory, they enhance the experience. Note: This pack doesn't spoon-feed you with dialogues on how to manage situations - that's up to you. For instance, if you see someone walking away from an accident scene, it's intentional.
  • Suspect and Vehicle Items Specific callouts may have items added to the suspect or vehicle inventory to guide your police action (e.g., burglary tools for silent alarms, drug paraphernalia for drug related calls, fake police badges for police impersonation calls). Always be alert; some suspects might carry weapons, like knives or broken bottles
  • Realistic Calls I have included a number of more "realistic" day to day calls that a police officer may respond to. Note, these calls can still lead to some hectic situations.
  • Location Based Calls You will only receive calls that are designated for your style of patrol. (patrolling the county will get you county calls, patrolling the city will get you city calls, etc). In addition, a number of the callouts will take you down into parking garages, alleyways, and nooks that you never knew existed in GTA.
  • Search Areas Some callouts will utilize a search area instead of a blip to have you do some real police work and investigate an area for the reported crime.
  • False Alarms There is a small chance that the call you are headed to is an ambush or false alarm or anything in-between.
  • Customization This callout pack also comes with a .ini that you can edit to add your own city and county specific peds and vehicles along with the ability to disable callouts if you do not want them to dispatch.
  • Scene Observations [updated] Certain callouts include a scene observation notification that can assist you in building a case against a suspect and establishing probable cause.

The search thing is really fun. But on the "silent alarm" call every time I'm dispatched I don't find anything. Is this meant to be a probability of a false alarm?

To an extent. You should occasionally arrive to nothing but it is not that common. Pay attention for people that look out of place (two gang members walking away from the location, people walking around carrying crowbars, drunk people walking away, etc)

Hey i have a suggestion, i think the search radius should either be customisable or smaller, its quite big and difficult to locate suspects

~Callout idea, saw it on a recent bodycam video:

Person slumped over inside their vehicle in a parking lot (many parking lots to use). Going up to the vehicle to speak to them wakes them up. They can either be determined to be DUI alcohol or narcatoics and arrested, or they can try bailing on foot leading to a chase/pursuit.

Is there supposed to be some type of dialogue in the callouts for example in traffic accident callout? How am i supposed to investigate the scene

Wanted to ask, am I supposed to end callout manually sometimes or am I missing some key actions during callout to complete it?

WOW ! Just WOW !

There is a problem with the BOLO Callout. If it turns into a pursuit, and the suspect is arrested, it causes LSPDFR to crash. I've included my Logfile.

I love this pack! Is there any way to make the search area smaller? I swear it extends for half a district and the person could be anywhere! Or at least provide a better description on who to look for. For example, if it's a "person with a weapon", I can't search half of Los Santos to find one specific person. Also vehicle BOLO: look for a fugitive. They may be on the highway, they may be in Elysian Fields. Idk good luck.

It's just too hard for me. Maybe make it an option on how big the search area should be?

I may add some personal customization to that. As for searching for the weapon, the logic when creating the callout is players driving around a decently broad area and watching peoples hands to see if anyone is carrying a knife / hatchet / gun / etc. Other times the person may have just left the scene as is common in real life. Thanks for the suggestion!

Understood! I wish there was a way to take multiple callouts at once and it would make BOLOs make a lot more sense.

Callouts keep automatically going to Code 4 upon accepting.

What is basically happening there is the game is picking a location too close to you. I may increase the distance on next update to prevent that from happening.

Amazing work here!! Would it be possible to update to work with ultimate backup? Like with the traffic stop callouts I know you can change the vehicle and ped but if I could have a ped with eup that would be amazing

Awesome callout pack, you should get together with opus49 and sync this with his callout interface. Great job.

Getting an issue where after ending the RoadRage callout using any menu, I am still getting the updated search area message in the top left every few seconds.

I am aware of when you end a callout you might have it show up once more, is it consistently showing up more than once?
