Welcome to K9 Callouts! K9 Callouts is a mod made for the player who wants to have a new experience in lspdfr using K9's on the job!

[Installation]
To install K9 Callouts simply drag the plugins and lspdfr folder into your main game folder. Then load up your
game and have fun!

[Functions]

Working K9 menu with ability to spawn K9's as your partner.

The menu gives you the ability to search peds/vehicles, air sniff.

5 Different callouts with a variety of spawnpoints and outcomes

[Tips and Tricks (Please read before playing)]

After the K9 is done attacking the suspect press follow in the menu so he does not attack you

F5 To open the menu

I know the dog rolls out of the car - that is just how it is

After the K9 gets out of the car press the follow button for him to follow you again

For the K9 to attack press attack in the menu or on some of the callouts press L

If it crashes for whatever reason look in your rage log for an error code and paste it in my discord for a fix.

Hey so that crashed because you did not have a Game Config and Pack file Limit Adjuster make sure you add those or it will crash!

So that peoples games don't crash

Had a chance to do 1 callout so far and it crashed. I was on the way to a Traffic Stop. Here is the log. Great Ideas man I hope it works out!!

Haha check if a different callout works also tip only click something in a menu if it is not null so for instance if the K9 is not in a car and you press leave vehicle the game will crash because he was not in the car but if you press enter vehicle it will work! The now he is in the car press leave vehicle it will work because he was in a car.
Anyway reinstall it try a other callout let me know how it goes!

Yeah I mean you can use ub's K9's you don't need to use the one in my callout pack but make sure not to press L for the K9 to attack if you don't have one of my or else it will crash. Otherwise yep go for it use UB!

Just a tip, you should try and code it in so that way making the dog exit only works when it's inside of the car... Believe and If() statement will work.

Unfortunately the pluggin has crashed twice whilst ive been testing it out. All within 3 mins. I spawned in the dog and tried to search a ped on the street to test the script and both times this has made me crash. I haven't had issues with any other callouts until i have installed this. So many cool idea's in it also!! Please have a look into this:)

I was on a traffic stop and shots where fired, my k9 got scared, jumped into my cruiser and drove away... I was a little confused...

Haha that had happened to me once but it only happened once that is why I never looked into fixing it lol. But I will take a look because I dont think he has his drivers license! 😂

When the call is showed by Dispatch above the minimap, it would nice if the title specify it is for a K9 unit. 🙂

Thank you. It is just because I don't patrol all the time with a K9 partner and recently, I accept to respond to the traffic stop assistance. To my big surprise, I realized I wasn't a K9 unit. LOL

Hi - Would it also be possible to change the "talk" keybind in the .ini?

That way I could make this callout pack use the same talk key as other packs 🙂

Same as X4vBond, would be really good to know when it is a K9 call so if I am not a K9 unit at the time I can ignore. 🙂

Hello!
The mod looks promising, but I could not play with it. Everytime I spawn the dog the game crashes with the error "ERR_MEM_MIN_ALLOC". Yes I do have a custom game config, the heap adjuster and the packfile limit adjuster. The only thing that appears in the log after I spawn the dog is

is it possible to have another version that has just callouts so it wouldn't conflict with bejoijo stp that has k9? or is it just the same and will work fine?
