An issue has been identified with the latest build of GTA V and LML. A new build will fix this in the future. The issue is caused by a change in GTA V's DRM/anti-tamper.


In the meantime, as a workaround starting the game with RPH will allow LML to work. You could also launch RPH when GTA V is at the mode selection screen, waiting for RPH to load, then selecting Story Mode.

The general idea of Lenny's Mod Loader is to provide an easy way to install file modifications. This is achieved in two different ways depending on whether existing resources in the game are to be 'replaced' or if new resources are added to the game as 'addons'. To replace resources, the game file system can be modified on a per-file basis allowing you to quickly change the content of files without touching any RPFs. To add new resources, the new content can be loaded from disk directly into the game, again without the need for any RPF changes. Goodbye to patchday17 and dlclist.xml. Certain mods, such as vehicles, can even be loaded at runtime, making choosing your new favorite ride a breeze.

Need some help. I followed tutorial, had no problem installing LML. But when I go to the mod page it does not detect any mods. I have pointed it to the GTA folder. When I go to download the EUP Menu in this case. The button with "Download with manager" is grey. And says not supported.

And if I try and download with manager, it says Download error: Access to the path "downloads" is denied. 

What am I missing?

Am i right in thinking this need to be updated for version "The Contract" (v2545), as I am getting an error loading with the version.dll vsf.dll?

Game is crashing after updating LML. Cars I had installed that were all working 100%, are now crashing my game. I can get a few to work, but no more than 5 at a time. Not sure what changed between versions but everything that was working, just doesn't want to work with this version.

    That did it. Thank you! I don't recall ever changing my gameconfig before now, but that fixed it right up.

    Why do I use lml to download the module, either the download fails, or the download progress has not been moved, and it is not downloaded at all.

    It looks like the newest update broke LML as it's now infinitely loading the game, even without anything installed. Discovered this while I was troubleshooting by renaming version.dll, and the game booted up normally again.

     

    Edit: Oops, I completely missed the update from the 28th last month, apolgies for bothering you...

     

    Another edit: Now it's just constantly crashing the game, again without anything else installed.

     

    Edit again: Sorted in DM's.

    Send me a PM or open a support topic and do the following: Can you attach your vfs.log and also check eventvwr.exe ->Windows Logs -> Application and look for GTA 5 related entries?

    I wasn't aware of any issues with 2628, what is broken for you?

    So, at the current time when I have the files for the mod loader in my game, it causes a crash on opening. Whenever I remove them though, my game seems to work fine. I thought it might have been an issue with 2628, but perhaps I was wrong

    It works fine for me on 2628, make sure it works with no lml mods installed. If not, you can PM me and we can move troubleshooting there.

    Hey mate, how ya going?

    So I've been having a few dramas trying to get past the loading screen on lspdfr without it crashing, it was working sweet until I installed the below vehicles / character mods through LML, it downloaded and converted all ok but crashes the game on the loading screen (doesn't matter if the mods are enabled or not).

    I've uninstalled the 3 mods below and it no longer crashes, I was wondering if there's a way around it or is it some other issue?

    1,[Non-ELS] Fictional Australian Police VF UTE 1.0.0

    2,QUEENSLAND POLICE-EUP 1.0.3  

    3,ACT Police Holden Commodore Mini Pack [NON-ELS] SP and FiveM Ready! 2.0.0

     

    Any help would be appreciated as I'm still fairly green to all this, thanks mate your a legend!
