What does this plugin do? This plugin adds a realistic body cam overlay and also plays the sound every 90 seconds (by default, can be configured).

You can change:

The time between the beeps
The serial number in the overlay
The model text in the overlay
The logo and sound
A manual toggle key to activate/deactivate the overlay
The general overlay scale
The date
If it works in every view or first person only

A legit copy of Grand Theft Auto V
RAGE Plugin Hook

Installation:

1. Copy the files from the .zip into your Grand Theft Auto V\Plugins\ folder.
2. Check the .ini file in Grand Theft Auto V\Plugins\BodyCam\ and adjust the settings and keybinds to your liking.
3. Load the plugin via the RAGE Plugin Hook settings or ingame via the console and enjoy 🙂

How to use the custom logo/sound:

Logo: Place a .png with the logo of your choice (and preferably transparent background) in the Grand Theft Auto V\Plugins\BodyCam\ folder and name the file "custom.png".
Sound: Place a .wav file with the sound of your choice in the Grand Theft Auto V\Plugins\BodyCam\ folder and name the file "custom.wav".

Don't go too crazy with the logo/sound files and keep them as small as possible in terms of file size. Larger sizes might cause issues/crashes.

when i go in third person sometimes the overlay will randomly start flickering, even though i have it disabled in third person

I'm sorry to ask but is there a way to zoom out and get more of a realistic "wide view" to see more of the arms extended out instead of just the hands up close? I have the settings in first person already at max zoom out but still looks too close.

The plugin doesn't modify the view in any way, you might have to look for a FOV mod or something to go along with it.

Ive actually had this happen way longer than just since the update. It flickers off and on in 3rd person once in awhile. Never found a fix.

Damn, that doesn't comfort me at all. This bug isn't kind of the most annoying one, but it significantly interferes with the gameplay reality. I've been using the first ever released version of this mod, there wasn't any problems yet I was tempted by the new overlay and here I am struggling with flickering.

I have a fix for this ready to go, I've just been trying to fix the crash people are getting before I update. Unfortunately the crash is a lot harder to find the cause of than the flickering. I can dm you and @CujoMatty the current dev version with the flickering fixed in a little bit.

have read the read me etc don't see link to discord to ask for support but followed the exact steps of the video previously mentioned on how to install but crashes as soon as plugin loads idk why or how to fix?

I'm not 100% certain as to if this is still active for these types of issues, but whenever I try to install this plugin, it ends up crashing my LSPD:FR. I hear the start-up beep whenever the game loads, but after that, it just goes haywire and well, crashes. Any help?

Sorry, been busy with other projects and haven't been around. LSPDFR seems to do some time manipulation stuff when it loads. BodyCam does the same, the changes seem to conflict and cause one or the other to crash. You can set LSPDFR to auto load then once you are in game manually load BodyCam and it should work fine.
