About This File

2014 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon ELS

Hello! As I am new to this, this is my first ever vehicle edit! I have been working on adding lights to this beautiful jeep model that China_Dazu has made. I took me about 4+ days to finally complete it, but I still have much more plans and upgrades in the near future. I thought I would put this out here because I have not yet seen a jeep model that looks like this in game. Can be used for volunteer fire vehicle, park ranger, etc. Feedback is highly considered! So this is one of a kind!

Update #2

I have been very busy the last couple of months in EMT school and now I have finally graduated I could focus a little more on modeling. I learned so much from vehicle modeling and decided to completely redo this jeep so it's better then ever before! I am coming down to adding the next 3 skins which are going to be City Police, Lifeguard, and Border Patrol.  Finalize whatever bugs and finally release the final finished version. Thank you all for supporting my first model ever and being patient and teaching me so much! Hopefully more models you never seen before to come! :)

PLEASE DO NOT ADD TINT IN TRAINER AS IT WILL BLACK OUT SOME LIGHTS!

Yes buddy I've been waiting for this great, people are going to think it's some firefighters or medic's personal vehicle until they are pulled over.

As I said before, I am VERY excited for this, as we are long overdue for a first responder jeep! What's even better is that this can be used for unmarked and slicktop patrols, and as someone who loves to be able to switch things up, this is a must-have.  The only bugs I found are the ones listed already, but none of them were ones that really hurt the vehicle.  I normally am a truck guy, but if we get a good sheriff skin for this, I will switch my sheriff2 in a heart beat!  Amazing work Torzzz, and thank you!

Thank you for this mod!  I have been waiting for a decent ELS Jeep Wrangler since the original Jeep By China_Dazu, just about a year ago now.  Any thoughts on creating an ELS equipped version of [DTD] Asyr0n's, Jeep Wrangler Unlimited 3 Door JK 2013?     Here is my LSPDFR Park Ranger patrol from tonight featuring your mod.  I hope you enjoy it.

dashlights not lined up to windshield, the inneredge and dual lights flashback shields are curved but the windshield is flat, you need to trim the flashback shields.

What a slick ride this is! It looks like the off-road king it is and has no problems lighting up all of nature as it travels through the forests and desert. (No, really--tons of lights. But they look and work for this vehicle, at least in my opinion)The ranger livery is my personal favorite. I haven't had a chance to use this a lot yet but it installs and works just fine.

Absolutely beautiful. Love this to bits. But, the jeep seems to cause horrible texture pop-in issues whenever I use it. Don't know if I have something conflicting, but figured I'd let you know in case others are experiencing similar issues.

Fantastic vehicle with a ridiculous amount of lights.

I love this car, i use it in my pranger slot as a park ranger vehicle. It has ALOT of lights, but that is not something negative if you ask me. it beautifully put together, although is has some small issues, i still think it deserves a 5/5

I also made a skin for this vehicle.

Very well done!

My one question is how do I set the default livery for it? I went into the .ytd and deleted the other 2, but then I get a green/brown mess on the body. (Yes I changed the remaining file to be sign 1). Sorry if it's a stupid question!

Response from the author:

Open your trainer>vehicle mod menu>vehicle livery>use numpads 4 or 6 to scroll and select your desired livery

Great vehicle by @Torzzz! I used it in both a livestream and now an LSPDFR episode as a Park Ranger and had a lot of fun with it. The light set up on it is fantastic, I LOVED all of the lights. Those takedown lights, boy you better watch out! Lots of details on the model, and it handles good as well. Rating it 4/5 as I did see some LOD issues with the car, and it does have a lot of polys which is taxing on the game, but definitely a must try! Thanks for all your hard work bringing this to the game!

Here is my full episode dedicated to the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon:
