Hello, Everybody! I'm proud to share another plugin with y'all!

This is called "Drop The Weapon!" and it allows you to disarm Peds and order them to drop the weapon!

 

FEATURES:

  • Customizable Surrender Chance!
  • Disarm When The Arm or Hand is Shot!
  • Disarm When Tased!
  • Order Peds To Drop The Weapon!
  • If Suspect has multiple weapons, he will equip another one!

What's New in Version 1.2.0

Released

  • Peds now will call cops after you threatened them and disarmed! (setup in the INI file)

 

  • You can now set Tased Surrender Chance Multiplier. When you are tased, you are less likely to surrender as if you were shot. (for example, Surrender Chance is set to 60 and Tased Surrender Chance Multiplier is set to 0.6. Now you will get 60*0.6=36 Chance that Ped will surrender after being tased) (setup in the INI file)

 

  • You can now Disable and Enable Help Box (Top Right Corner Message) for GUNPOINT. Requested Feature. Thanks to @AkAPs2 or the suggestion! (setup in the INI file)

 

  • Now you can not GUNPOINT disarm cops and other ignored models. (setup in the INI file)

 

Minor Changes:

  • Debug Mode is now DISABLED by default (no more "spine 1234" and "calf 4321" messages!)
  • Performance Improvements for those who have A LOT ped in the game.
  • Added ability to spawn Debug Peds by pressing Ctrl+Divide(Not Hostile) and Ctrl+Shift+Divide (Hostile). Works only if DEBUG MODE is ON.
  • New Functions in the API. (for DEVS)

This looks awesome, man! I am looking forward to trying this. I watched the video and just to clarify, there is a chance that the suspect won't drop the weapon, correct?  I'll leave a review once I install and use it later today!

Yes, there is a chance that the suspect won't drop the weapon. He even may try to kill you!

Looks like your Ragehook is outdated. Which game version are you on and which RPH version do you use? Also, make sure you load RPH with admin rights.

when you say the ai can disarm you, do you mean the AI police can disarm you as a suspect, or do you mean that the suspect can disarm you while you're an officer?

@Fenix2525WOT All of the plugins are up to date. I thought I give it another spin, before enabling debug mode. It crashed again. I will try debug mode tommorow.

This crash is due to another reason. Looks like the weapon of that Ped does not exist when plugin tries to drop it.

Everyone Can Disarm Everyone by damaging the hand. You can even be disarmed if you are rammed by a car!

After that I have enabled debug mode and the whole rage crashed on me. I don't understand this, because the game is going well now.

Only your plugin crashes. What can you make out of the logs?

It's not bc of the plugin. I measured performance efficiency before submitting. If you can run GTA on High-Above Normal setting, you won't have even -1 fps.

Tested with LSPDFR running: when the plugin is loaded there's a significant drop - FPS go back to normal levels when plugin is unloaded.

i7 3770K overclocked @ 4.2Ghz (playing in Windows' High Performance mode)

16Gb RAM DDR3 XMP @ 1600Mhz

Sapphire Nitro+ RX 480 8GB OC (little core custom overclock to 1360Mhz - Power Limit maxed at 50%)

SSD Samsung 850 Evo - 1 Tb

PSU Corsair RM750x

 

No thermal/power throttling ever registered - system is stable and running on low temps even on high loads (Prime95, benchmarks, DX12 titles, etc).

 

GTAV (without plugins loaded) is running about 70/80 fps. I play with VSync, LSPDFR is stable on 60fps, rare drop to 55. With DropTheWeapon! plugin loaded fps drop to 40/45, which is sadly unplayable because from what I've tested so far is already a must have.
