18 Screenshots

Hi there!

I've been wanting to make a pack for a long time, and with ELS now released this is possible!

Here are some models based on Snohomish County Sheriff, WA.  This pack currently includes a 2011 CVPI, 2013 FPIU, 2015 Tahoe, and a 2016 FPIU. Complete with 4K skins by Slendis

These are meant to have accurate lighting set up, please do not review based on your opinions, but based on the quality of the models. I encourage your feedback!

READ BEFORE REVIEW/DOWNLOAD

There are some bugs as with any models (Keep in mind, most of these will be fixed eventually when I get time.)

I tested them and they do, however for whatever reason, whatever I do, the cols are weird on the sides of the rambar for the tahoe.

(Lemme know if one of them doesn't though)

me like! I've installed two vehicles so far and I'm having some issues with the lighting. im sure its an installation error. I've tried them in three locations with patchday 13 being my latest Patchday13 being my latest patchday, I've tried them in Patchday3, 11, and 13. Everything else is great.

CVPI= When I hit the "[" key for the steady lit light bar, half of the light bar does not light up. It does however light up normally otherwise.

Tahoe= The light bar does not turn on. Everything else works.

Thoughts?

They are installed. That's how i was able to hit the "[" button for the steady light bar to come on. I can try reinstalling again but i dont think that'll change a thing.

The steady light bar is just how the cruise lights were setup for the cvpi (That can be changed in the vcf), and I'm not sure about the Tahoe, as it seems to be working. Just check in Open IV that it looks correct with all the light textures popping up. If that looks good then it is something with the vcf.

Same thing happens to me with the tahoe. Light bar does not light up. I have it installed in patchday3

Could you possibly post a screenshot of what the vehicle looks like in openiv? Thank you!

thanks for the response @thegreathah. I took a look at the vcf and resolved the issue on the CVPI. As for the Tahoe, I did noticed the Tahoe's light bar was super dark when it spawned so that might be what is causing the light to not emit through.

Ahh yes. I forgot about window tints! I've had an edited vehicles.met for so long I forgot. Make sure to set it to clear!

Do you know a way to clear the tint so it spawns without the tint?

Edit: So I went in to edit the default tint line to spawn without tint however, it still spawns with tint for some reason. I enabled the trainer and the default tine line shows "None". The tint would only disappear when i toggle the tint from "Light tint", "Smokey" or whatever shades there are and then back to "None".

edit vehicles.meta in \update\update.rpf\common\data\levels\gta5

search for the modelname you replaced

change the diffuseTint line to:

<diffuseTint value="0x00FFFFFF" />

Just some hopefully welcomed constructive criticism for the next update: the cvpi's wrap-arounds should be level with the bumper where it meets the body, so just a little bit lower, and the spotlight on the Tahoe should be up the A puller just a tad. *see attached*

other than that pack is awesome!!!!! Great job!

Hey Bud. Great job. The cars looks wonderful. As above, the 2015FPIU has the same lightbar tint issue. I will trouble shoot with some of the suggestions above. One other little thing I found. I edited the VCF for the Aux Coronas for the reverse lights. Your default is right and left "blue" which is perfect, however when I change them to "11" for strobes, only the left side lights up blue, the right side does not. It does not light up at all which is strange. Any ideas?

If you are talking about the 2015 FPIU with the back strobes, I know. It's unfortunately the DEV model at this point. I'm trying to figure out how to fix it still :P

Thanks so much for the feed back! I will try to fix that ASAP
