Emergency Lighting System 1.05

Got back after few years and installed ELS by a experience then later tryed 4 videos tutorials as if would help with this newest AdvancedHook, which fixs only error in my case and all actions leads to same results as if didin't put any files in and it's not recognised as mod there in gta directory, nice.. out of ideas with this one

[EDIT:After huge hesitation i decided to reinstall and start with this mod and worked.. Good luck to me for installing other mods once again 😂]

For me, having Dynamic Lighting System installed caused a similar issue. If you have it enabled, maybe it's worth a try to disable it

ELS is not working and it keeps crashing gta 5 on me and i was wondering what to do about it son I'm currently have stuck with the original police cars that came with the game, and it sucks so please reply to this as soon as you can no hurry I'm not impatient. PS i think it might have to do with Advanced hook V the separate file from ELS.

Besides that, I tried updating some files that were outdated and it worked. If this fails for you guys then I'm sorry but I tried my best to help.

I have done this, both the UI Scripthook (which is much nicer then the regular scripthook anyways) and the updated advanced hook, this has FIXED some of my ELS vehicles but a lot of still broken, HOWEVER the fatal error is gone and so I'm going to chock it up to outdated files or bugs, I may end up trying the gameconfig stuff or just doing a clean install all over again, thanks!

I'm having the same issue, but no dynamic lighting is not the issue, i don't even have the dynamic lighting system and mine does this even if there are no els functions running at the time of the crash. for example i went on duty, started getting set up and it crashe through scripthook. maybe scripthook needs updated or advancehook, but i'd say Lt.Caine should double check and make sure els doesn't need updated

Not going to lie, alot of devs are becoming frustrated with ELS being rather outdated now and are trying to switch to other systems such as DLS but that's been a shit show as well. If you don't want to offer support for this mod anymore or grow on it any longer make it open source so we can make upgrades to it then. It was a great mod for a long while but a little more support should be given to the most essential mod on this website. I don't even care if you wanna charge a couple bucks for it we would just appreciate some more features. 

POSSIABLE FIX when using windows zip file extraction  i get THAT ERROR WHEN I USE 7-zip TO EXTRACT  ELS then i install it then i used the updated AdvancedHookV_b3258 i extract using 7-zip and bam now its working for me before id crash on start up hope this helps 🙂

So sorry, but i was having a hard time understanding what was said there. It looked like you said you got the error from using 7-zip and then said that 7-zip fixed the issue? I used WinRAR to during my install. perhaps a more clear message could help me I hope?

USE 7 ZIP TO uncompresse the files when i use another programs i get that error

can you update it to the latest gta 5 version please cause old version make my game start up but doesn't show up and I thought it was a different plugin but that's when I found out it was yours please!!!.

hello im having issue with els i have stutter when i change to code 1 code 2 and code 2 and when i get out of the vehicle i have a video here 

Gta V has updated again. AdvancedhookV 3258 isn't compatible with Gta V version 3411.

As soon as I enter the vehicle the siren goes off and els controls are not working.

after in unzip with 7 zip it started working for me but i do get random asi crashing

Yes unzipping AdvancedhookV with 7-zip instead of winrar does fix this issue!

is there going to be an new update for advanced hook V or els itself? cause it doesn't load up with gta 5 either for me it shows on rockstar games launcher that the game is running but it doesn't open up so i can play so can you update it please

Unfortunaley this unzip method was temporary fix. Once I reload the game after a crash (or otherwise) Im having the same problem again.

Exactly the same. I thought it was something else, but it's the ELS that makes all the bugs.

I had the same problem. make sure you install the latest scripthook which came out a few days ago. an update broke it but now its fixed
