Emergency Lighting System V brings one of the most popular modifications ever created for a GTA title (ELS-IV) to Grand Theft Auto V. ELS-V will add a whole new dimension to your patrols. With a fresh look and many more features than its predecessor, it's also sure to brighten up your game and satisfy the emergency lighting enthusiast in anyone.

DESCRIPTION
− ELS provides an alternate and incredibly in-depth way of controlling emergency vehicle lights and sounds.
− ELS requires vehicle models specifically designed to make use of its features.
− ELS includes over 200 unique lighting patterns scattered across 4 light groups and lighting formats.

NOTES
− Please consult the ELS USER GUIDE and other provided documentation prior to using ELS.

− As of V1.00 ELS is not compatible with any form of multiplayer.
− A visual enhancement mod is recommended to improve the appearance of ELS lights in game.

BASIC INSTALLATION
− A GTAV ScriptHook must be installed for any .asi modification to work. The original may be found HERE.
− Using script modifications in GTA Online can result in a temporary or permanent ban from the service.
− 1. Place ELS.asi, ELS.ini, the ELS folder, and AdvancedHookV.dll inside your main GTA V game directory.
− 2. Download and install (a) pro-ELS vehicle model(s).
− 3. Start your game.

CREDITS
− ELS is coded by Lt.Caine.

− AdvancedHookV and vehicle damage feature coded by LMS.
− ELS-V testing team (alphabetical order): Albo1125, BxBugs123, GravelRoadCop, PoliceWag, and Prophet.

What's New in Version 1.05

Released June 28, 20241 yr

Removed auto deletion of discarded ELS vehicles to prevent crashes when using certain LSPDFR plugins.
Removed ELS manipulation of AI vehicles as persistent/not persistent for same reason.
Removed strobe corona flash sounds (while retaining sound effects for halogen patterns).
Toggling the ELS information panel will now reload everything in the ELS.ini.
Fixed error in ELS User Guide that incorrectly associated SCNL with extra_11 and TKDL with extra_12 (the opposite is true).
Updated ELS User Guide to reflect new changes.
ELS.ini change: Added "AllowController" option to CONTROL section to allow enabling/disabling controller input for ELS.
ELS.ini change: Added "TogKeysLock" option to CONTROL section to allow changing ELS key lock button.

Please download the AdvancedHookV fix if you are using game build 3258.

never mind, some work and some don't. Had to update ELS, maybe some cars use old carcols or something

I'm getting an ELS Key Lock Active error message. Any idea on how I can fix it? I also notice the background is blurry and disappears.

Hey everyone, maybe you're able to help me with my question. I don't quite know how to put it in proper english terms and I can't find anything related by googleing. So I was wondering if it's possible to bind two functions to a single key. It will be activating ELS lighting stage 3 and simultaneous perform a traffic stop by the lspdfr config. I hope you can understand what i mean. Until now i have to activate the lights and afterwards press LeftShift to signal a traffic stop. But this causes all vehicles in front of my car to immediately slam their brakes and me crashing in the one i want to stop. Then it takes forever for the guy to accelerate i bit and then find a spot to hold. I think it would be really nice to do both with a single key. 😜

I found out, that it also works the other way around, first blip the car and then activate the lights. So that works fine for me, no further solution necessary 👍

I have a very important question, my ELS was working well until I installed Natural Vision then stopped working! I unninstall the NV but doesnt work!, help pls!!!

So, for ANYONE wondering how to get the "luxart " interface/info panel, look inside of the ELS.ini file. at the bottom you'll find

TogInfoPanl = 80

The value of 80 equates to the P key on the keyboard. for further codes, if you wish to change that value - refer to this link: https://cherrytree.at/misc/vk.htm

Hi, I need help when I am near the vehicle the lights are white or very light blue and light red, do you have a solution?

This mod doesn't come with vehicles, you need to find vehicles that have a label ELS and than place the .xml file in ELS/pack_default

Hi i have a problem, i dont know if was asked before, i have a peep sound random in the game when activated els, its so annoying , its happen maybe every 1 minute or so, . What i notice is start when i press J for lights or "O" to use backup ultimate, someone experience some similar?

I have a problem all of my ELS vehicles have big square lights only when in front of a vehicle with lights on. How can I fix it? Thank you.

I have a problem, as soon as I try to insert AdvancedHookV.dll and start the game it crashes and from TaskManager it says "Not Responding".
If I then delete AdvancedHookV.dll the game goes without problems but ELS does not start.
I've been losing my mind for 4 days and I can't solve it. Can anyone help me? 😭

Can you take a screen shot of your GTA main directory folder and post it?

That is your Visualsettings.dat file, not ELS. Did you add a visual lighting mod to your game?

That is not ELS doing that. Areyou using another mod like "RichsPoliceEnhancements"?

Can you post a screenshot of your plugins folder and your LSPDFR folder that is INSIDE the plugins folder.
