Emergency Lighting System V brings one of the most popular modifications ever created for a GTA title (ELS-IV) to Grand Theft Auto V. ELS-V will add a whole new dimension to  your patrols. With a fresh look and many more features than its predecessor, it's also sure to brighten up your game and satisfy the emergency lighting enthusiast in anyone.

 

DESCRIPTION
− ELS provides an alternate and incredibly in-depth way of controlling emergency vehicle lights and sounds.
− ELS requires vehicle models specifically designed to make use of its features.
− ELS includes over 200 unique lighting patterns scattered across 4 light groups and lighting formats.

 

NOTES
− Please consult the ELS USER GUIDE and other provided documentation prior to using ELS.

− As of V1.00 ELS is not compatible with any form of multiplayer.
− A visual enhancement mod is recommended to improve the appearance of ELS lights in game.

 

BASIC INSTALLATION
− A GTAV ScriptHook must be installed for any .asi modification to work. The original may be found HERE.
− Using script modifications in GTA Online can result in a temporary or permanent ban from the service.
− 1. Place ELS.asi, ELS.ini, the ELS folder, and  AdvancedHookV.dll inside your main GTA V game directory.
− 2. Download and install (a) pro-ELS vehicle model(s).
− 3. Start your game.

 

CREDITS
− ELS is coded by Lt.Caine.

− AdvancedHookV and vehicle damage feature coded by LMS.
− ELS-V testing team (alphabetical order): Albo1125, BxBugs123, GravelRoadCop, PoliceWag, and Prophet.

What's New in Version 1.05

Released

  • Removed auto deletion of discarded ELS vehicles to prevent crashes when using certain LSPDFR plugins.
  • Removed ELS manipulation of AI vehicles as persistent/not persistent for same reason.
  • Removed strobe corona flash sounds (while retaining sound effects for halogen patterns).
  • Toggling the ELS information panel will now reload everything in the ELS.ini.
  • Fixed error in ELS User Guide that incorrectly associated SCNL with extra_11 and TKDL with extra_12 (the opposite is true).
  • Updated ELS User Guide to reflect new changes.
  • ELS.ini change: Added "AllowController" option to CONTROL section to allow enabling/disabling controller input for ELS.
  • ELS.ini change: Added "TogKeysLock" option to CONTROL section to allow changing ELS key lock button.

 

Please download the AdvancedHookV fix if you are using game build 3258.

Best thing ever. The lighting is so good.  I can't even imagine how much work it took to make this work for over 3 years without an update.

Anyone know how to add on scene lights? you get all lights on and rear reds but anyone know how to make the lights red and blue at the back of the lightbar only? so when you pull up you can put secondary lights on and it makes the whole back of the lightbar flash red and blue at the back? if that makes sense.

i know what you mean. i know els has switches for cruise and takedown lights. cruise lights turns the lights on and don't flash. you would also need a car that supports that. but to have them flash only on the back side I don't think it has that feature. maybe in the future.

    I have the following problem: I have installed ELS and added ELS vehicles. I have also added all the files that were necessary, as described in the installation instructions.

    Unfortunately I have the problem that the lights are permanently on and the sirens do not work.

    As you can see more easily, all the lights are on. These only go out when you leave the vehicle.

    The VCF xmls are also all properly inserted.

     

    I'm getting desperate and I just don't know what to do.

    You can see it quite clearly in the video. The lightbars are permanently on no matter which key I press. Only the standard mode works, but there only the rear lights are flashing.

     

     

    I would be very happy about a feedback and hope to solve the problem.

    I play lspdfr with my controller, everything works perfectly fine and there is no issues, which is the issue, els works as it should but I don’t like how it does, the button to blip a car for a traffic stop is A, however A is also the els button which turns the headlights on and off (“\” on keyboard) so I went into the els config file and set “Toggle_BLKT” to 0 to disable it, this works, “\” can no longer do anything, but “A” does, and it’s really frustrating me because whenever I click on anything that be trainer, backup, pull over, it flashes the headlights, anyone know how to disable it for controller aswell without disabling els for the controller entirely?? Would he much appreciated

    hi there, I have installed everything correctly, I use ELS cars but literally nothing works, could you give me any advice on how to get it too work as im sick of my lights 

    looking rubbish, on the ELS cars no lights work justthe siren and the control panel for els doesn't show

    Try watching this step by step, it may help EDIT: it did not show the right video and I cant delete this one for some reason. Anyway he has several easy tutorials so you can find the ELS one.

    So I found the solution. I had an old version of Script Hook V. This caused ELS and the rest not to load.

    Is it normal that LSPDFR always crashes when you die? I've had that a lot lately.

    Turn off scroll lock!

    When I engage stage 3 lighting, the nearest car to me that I have not pulled over (AI driven) will disappear. I can drive up next to ANY car but as I soon as engage stage 3 it disappears along with the driver. if I sit in traffic and let cars pass me with stage 3, it continually deleted the car closes to me. But it it only on the sides of the vehicle. 

     

    I have World of Variety installed with an altered gameconfig. ELS, LSPDFR4.7, Enhanced Vehicled Plugins, Blueghost unmarked packed. 

     

    Any suggestions? Is there anything from the stage 3 lighting that emits as a physical item that is clashing with something in my gameconfig file? 

     

    I have also ran this without the WOV before and it ran perfectly fine. After installing this MOD I get that issue.

    hi ELS is not working every thing is installed correctly i have latest scripthook latest Ragehook latest LSPDFR i also have a police car pack that i have used a lot and worked in the past i have tried other NEWER ELS police backs 2 different ones and ELS still did not work the only lights that worked were the tail lights flashing and the light bar didn't even show a faded light there was nothing at all i also deleted GTA V and reinstalled everything with the newest version and yest is still did not work please fix or tell me what i am doing wrong

    It sound like you have experience with installing it. I reinstalled everything after two years of not playing. I had to relearn everything but the ELS for me is working. I followed Benzos tutorial step by step. maybe give it glance to see if you missed something by chance.

    i did watch this entire video earlier and every thing in this video i did do exactly the same unless there is something so small that i dont notice but i have never have had this strange bug happen to me before and i am sure i did everything correct but idk anymore thank you for the help though it is very strange the lights are acting like they are

    FOR THOSE HAVING ISSUES WITH ELS NOT WORKING, IT IS BECAUSE LTCAINE HAS NO INTENTIONS OF UPDATING IT NOR WILL HE BE BACK.

     Anyone have any clue why none of the red and blues arent working for me on any of the stages on ELS? (Non-Els cars work) only the cars with ELS dont work.

    For all trouble with ELS Lights: 

     

    Go to Open iv and than to asi manager 

     

    Uninstall asi loader close open iv

     

    Now open iv again and install asi loader again

     

    !! At last restart your computer and play ! !
