Sounds like it's not installed properly. Do you have the VCF (Vehicle Configuration File) for the vehicle installed in the ELS folder where it goes? Also, do you have ScriptHookV and an ASI loader installed?

I have all of that, including the updated ScriptHookV. I've tried multiple vehicles and they all do the same thing. I have also reinstalled ELS and it does the same thing. It was all working fine until GTA updated. But I updated everything, so the only thing I can think of is that ELS needs to be updated, because I'm seeing other people in the comments with the same problem.

Interesting. Mine is working fine after the update. 

Im having similar issues, if i go to stage 3 with the NYPD pack i have installed then the coronas on the lightbar show but none of the extras are working to make the lights show properly, i can switch them on manually in a trainer its almost like ELS has lost the ability to switch car extras on and off for the lights. Its even more noticable on LED lightbars when nothing shows?

hey question if i use els cars with els installed but someone uses the car example the ford f-550 ambulance, and i call for that ambulance through dispatch will there lights works or not cause ik if the player uses els and uses the regular siren button the siren works but no lights 

Caine, regarding sirens, ELS causes the "distant siren" sound not to be played with ELS vehicles, making sirens completely silent beyond the relatively short range of the normal siren sound. Can anything be done to fix that?

Also, do you know of any progress deciphering the names of the other siren sound names so they will be available in the future?

which key do u use when u want to stop a vehicle and you already pressed "shift" ? (sirene key?)

for some reason, all AI cars only stick to the phaser siren and it makes me wanna die more than usual. Any ideas as to why it's happening?

Everything was working just fine up until I launched the game about 15 min ago.. For some reason as soon as I start any els police vehicle the secondary siren turns on by itself and I have no control over it. I can only control the lighting.. Does anyone know what could be causing this and how to fix it.. Thanks

i am having kind of a weird issue. ive never used ELS before.

i installed it, i press CTRL-P. i have a els car installed and the xml placed in the pack_default folder within the els folder. i press J. I can see in the els menu that im cycling through and turning on lights. yet on none of the 2 diffrent cars i tried installing does the emergency lights work at all.. so menu works. i can press about with it . play siren sounds etc. but i cannot for the life of me make the lights function. i could use some assistance from a more experienced person please :(

What am I doing wrong? I put the vehicle files in the proper folder through OpenIV, I put the proper XML files in the ELS folder and run the game with RPH.

How to set default pattern to be SCAN on primary lights?

I dont know what im doing wrong. I installed it 2 times (v1.05). Just copy the 3 files and 1 order in main folder. Then i pick a ELS Police Car, install it how its written in the ReadMe folder. I make the ELS .xml from the car in the ELS order pack_default but it doesnt works. I pressed CTRL+P but then, the map opens. I think it wont start but i dunno why. Can sb help me?

Not at this time. Until the siren audio strings (not hashes) are found for the other sirens in the game, the only siren audio slot that ELS is able to use is the Police, Police Secondary, Police Warning, Police AHorn, Ambulance Warning, and Firetruck Horn sounds. You could use Siren Mastery with ELS to get the other siren audio options though. 

Cant get any lightbars to show up on custom cars for some reason. What am I doing wrong?

Can you make the audio strings POLICE_WARNING and AMBULANCE_WARNING sound from the start like you can do with SirenMastery? (at least setting it in the .ini file of this last one)

I installed the 2016 Ford Police Interceptor ELS. It's my first attempt to mod a vehicle. No skins just yet, just trying to get the basics down.  I cannot get any of the ELS commands to work however. I used their .meta file and replaced the in game one and placed the car in the most recent patch file. The car looks modified and correct. I've installed ELS properly I believe, but I cannot get the console or any of the buttons for ELS to work. The lights and siren are still the default E and J, and of course do not display properly.

When I press shift to pull someone over, the initial part works fine, but I can't get past the "Blip your siren" part. & if I blip or honk with ELS they floor it & smash into what ever's in their way 100% of the time. I have tried disabling the traffic control for ELS but all that does is disable it even registering that I blipped my siren at all. I can honk & wail behind a suspect all day & it does nothing.
I'm running this with the ELS LA Pack. What in the hell am I doing wrong?

I fixed my issue, I was missing an AdvanceHookV  file.

SirenMastery isn't working with els anymore because a 'vcf was detected' You're lucky you can even get sirens
