  1. Thanks so much, sounds like I can extend my range a bit when I'm in a long pursuit.
  2. If someone would be kind enough to answer, I have a question about jurisdiction within LA, & to compare that to Los Santos. I like to keep things as realistic as possible in LSPDFR, but one thing that always has me a little jibbery is when I start a pursuit on one end of LS, & finish it on the other. Which raises the question of how realistic that can be. So to compare that to a real world scenario, say a pursuit started in South LA, stayed within the City of LA, & finished in North Hollywood, would the officers that originally pulled the vehicle over in South LA be able to stay with the pursuit through that distance? Or if I wanted to be realistic, should I bug out of the pursuit after going how ever far away from where I normally patrol, south of the Los Santos City.
  3. When I press shift to pull someone over, the initial part works fine, but I can't get past the "Blip your siren" part. & if I blip or honk with ELS they floor it & smash into what ever's in their way 100% of the time. I have tried disabling the traffic control for ELS but all that does is disable it even registering that I blipped my siren at all. I can honk & wail behind a suspect all day & it does nothing. I'm running this with the ELS LA Pack. What in the hell am I doing wrong?
  4. Sorry for this being the 50,432nd post about this, but I'm not entirely sure what's going on. As detailed as I can from the top... So! I'd stopped regularly playing lspdfr around mid November last year. So I'm not sure if this might've been triggered by an update. A few days ago I tried launching for the first time in a while with mods enabled, everything as it was the last time I launched, it kept crashing during the Loading Story Mode screens. Both from launching with Ragehook & regularly through Steam. So I updated ragehook, & lspdfr. Or at least re downloaded & installed them, I didn't check if I actually had an older version. That had no effect on the crashes, so I disabled the mods folder through openIV, which then allowed the game to launch. So I thought that seemed a little interesting. So my next step was to remove the mods folder, while keeping the ASI loaders on openiv still enabled. That worked as well. Then I deleted the mods folder, made a new one, & collected a completely new group of mods to install. Installed them, all of the ytfs & ytds previewed correctly when I tested them in openiv. Launched GTA with Ragehook, crashed during loading story mode again. So I repeated the testing of the mods folder to see if disabling / removing that would allow the game to load. It does, both by disabling the ASI loaders in openiv or physically removing the mods folder. So! My mind next went to is openiv out of date. Not from what I could see, running 2.8, all I could find were downloads for 2.8. This is when I started to get a little stumped, I had a gloss through the logs I could find, & to be honest I don't really know what I'm looking for in them. My keen detective skills tell me it's a problem with how the mods have been installed. The mods in particular are a fairly standard mid/late 90s pack. Lundy's '96 LAPD Crown Vic Lundy's '94 LAPD Caprice FCVP71's '97 Unmarked Crown Vic Lundy's '85 Ford LTD Lundy's '94 CHP Caprice FCVP71's '89 LASD Caprice Launcher Log in Documents\Rockstar Games\GTA V: Ragehook Logs: I think that's all of the relevant information... Those are the logs I could find with the correct dates, so if I'm missing any give a yell. Hopefully it's something small, or I'm just being an idiot. Any help I could get would be absolutely awesome.
