Emergency Lighting System 1.05

Anybody else have AI ELS cars that don't change siren tones? It seems they just pick any random siren tone (1,2,3,4 etc) and stick with that without changing it while running code 3.  Makes for some really ugly sounding chases. I've had this problem since the first version of ELS V.

Is there any update on getting other sound strings implemented into the mod for other emergency service vehicles??

any chance you can re upload 1.05. When i download it there is nothing inside. Says the files are corrupt. 

Not sure if its just me, but the text on the control panel for ELS is too small to read, can barely see what number Im on when switching flash patterns. Also, is it possible to turn on/off certain light products when on position 3, or do they all have to be on?

Hey, this may kinda seem a bit stupid but how do I change the ELS lights to the keys I want? I know the numbers thing, but I dont get which number corresponds to which letter. And I want to assign my ELS controls to my extra buttons in my gaming mouse and keyboard (13 keys available) I also know I am a bit late. Sorry if this seems to be stupid, I just wanted to get some help. Other than that, its a great mod!

edit your ELS VCF file at the top it should say activation method or something like that, it will be set at manual, delete that and type auto in that spot then save it. then all you will have to do is push the left on the dpad and it will activate. :)

Hi guys!, I'm having trouble with ELS atm where it doesn't work for any of the vehicles I have installed in the game. The emergency lights of the vehicles are always on and whenever I activate the siren or lights nothing happens unless I press the horn button 'e' and then only the headlights and tail lights flash. Can anyone help me out?

I have it fixed in  a way that seems to work for me.  Since I don't use the number pad on the right I put all the ELS siren controls on my Num pad and continue to use my Dpad to control the siren like I did before.  I changed the toggle for the siren to something else, I don't remember what now since I won't use it but use the G key as before to control the main siren.  Problem resolved for me for the most part. 

Change your VCF. In the lines that say enable siren, put false. The default is True. This will not allow the game file sirens and will only use your siren mastery sounds.

Is anyone having issues after the latest update? I've updated RPH, Scripthook and the latest ELS version and I'm getting no lights in game. Traffic is still moving and vehicles that have built in taillight flasher are still working, but no ELS controlled lights are functioning. 

Anyone experienced this and have a fix?

@Lt.Caine Excellent mod. Only suggestion is adding ability to toggle specific controller buttons on and off. "A" for blackout makes car go dark when blipping suspects. Sort of silly to go blackout then immediately stage 3. Still 5/5 all day long tho.

Hey Guys, I have loaded ELS and it works for all my 'standard' vehicles I've added. 

My problem is that I have several 'Add-on' police cars that are ELS enabled. I can us the UI and controls for the sirens etc but it isn't recognising when I want to pull someone over. Does anyone have a solution to this?

If you are trying to pull someone over, just activate your lights. I found when using my controller in was Left on the D-Pad this should just initiate the pull over. 

The problem I have found, is that if you aren't using an in-game police slot (I.e: Police, Police 2, FBI, Sheriff etc) it wont initiate the pull over command. I posted above but am yet to find a solution.

I used to have els working great....but when i re-downloaded the game and tried to reinstall els, it doesn't work. I installed  els properly as well as supported cars, not even the control panel pops up....PLEASE HELP!!!

how do you change the sirens for the diffenent cars eg abo and police have the same sirens loaded can we change them so that the ambo has a different siren sound for each siren that the police

Pulling over isnt the problem. Its if you need them to move to another location, so you press your horn. But they full pedal straight forward.

I'm sorry, I noticed I read your comment wrong earlier, but didnt have time to make an edit.

I'm also having your problem (as well as the one I've listed) I'd imagine it'll get fixed eventually.

my els isnt working at all, not sure what  to do, it was working fine last night, booted up then nothing

Hello, just wanted to point out something that might be cool for a future update. On modern cop cars, they have their siren hooked up to their steering wheel. When they're on wail and hit the horn, it switches to yelp for 8 seconds and then automatically switches back to wail. Was thinking would be cool for a future update! Thanks for all your hard work on this mod!

has anyone had this problem when i install a mega pack that uses ELS depending on how many vehicles are in the pack on one or three of the vehicles show up does anyone have a fix for this?.

anyone know how to change the button on the controller that disables the headlights and taillights? I would like to change it to "x" on my controller instead of "a"

i have a problem.. i installes els, instlle dcompactible cars, but the control panel does not show up if i press ctrl+p i have tried to remapp the buttons but nothing changes. i am usang a qwertz keyboard, any ideas

Need your help guys.  Is there ANY way possible to make strobe coronas come on ONLY at light stage 3.  I don't know why its currently coded for strobe coronas to come on during light stage 2 and halogens only at light stage 3.  Is there a work around this?  I really need some strobes for ONLY light stage 3.  Please help. 

How do you fix the issue of every vehicle going nuts and crashing in the sidewalks when you change your tone? It sure ruins every chase.
