Emergency Lighting System 1.05

Hey guys, I had no issue with ELS before but recently had to reinstall my game due to an accidental deletion by a family member--I've installed a few ELS vehicles and their appropriate XML files but when I enter the vehicles I find myself unable to use ELS and their lights are bugged. The lights appear stuck as if in steady burn and do not activate in any pattern when I activate my siren. Issue is persistent on all vehicles leading me to believe the issue is in a visual setting or with ELS itself, but I have no idea what the problem really is to address it this time. Any help or solutions by anyone who had similar experiences would be appreciated.

I use Make Visuals Great Again 2.0 and Improved Lighting Pattern 3.1 (both should be ELS compatible, no problems with them before)

Vehicles installed are the Miami Pack cvpi/interceptor for police and police 2 with LAPD and CHP skins

LAPD Police Interceptor by NorCal

LSSD Sheriff pack OfficeFive0
Slicktop Charger by MrPotato and
2008 Chevy Tahoe (christmas tree lighting)

All are ELS vehicles and ELS compatible visuals, appropriately installed in the correct folders with the correct pack default xml's attached to each vehicle slot. I'm at a loss here.

FIXED: If anyone encounters a similar issue, it seemed to be an error somehow with Script Hook though I am not sure quite what it was. Despite being installed correctly as well as being current, I had to reinstall script hook for whatever reason as it seemed to be the malfunctioning file. Feel free to delete this comment or keep it in case someone else has this weird issue :)

Can't get ELS to work, everything was installed per instructions. is anyone else having this issue?

Same story for me except it's scroll lock.

When I turn lights on all the hear is siren and no lights. Any help?

When I for example put my Primary Sirens pattern to 20 and when I go to stage 3 lighting it changes itself to 25* or when I change my siren sound it changes itself to another pattern, is there a way stop ELS Doing that?

This is because ELS uses all the extras in order to make the lights work the way they do. This is why ELS vehicles are needed to work with ELS.

Is it possible to only put on the primary lights? Without enabling the secondary and warning lights? At the moment, the only option I found is to press J two times and then press K and L to disable the secondary and warning lights... Has to be an easier way right?

how can I change the color of the information panel wich can be toggled by "Ctrl+P" at the botton right (on one screenshot it's orange and on the other it's green)? Default is orange. I'm german and I don't understand all of the things in the User Guide... Can someone help me?

edit the car specific .xml file in your ELS folder.

If I change they keybindings to nothing, does it still work? So I can use siren mastery at the same time

Your game pad can operate ELS on your controller?

Hello guys.

Could anyone suggest a useful keyboard layout to use with the ELS? It feels like I have like 4/5 of the keyboard used by the mods and it’s almost impossible to find anything that wouldn’t interfere with the other mods and LSPDFR plugins.

I'm having a problem where ELS. Only works with POLICE, but not POLICE 2,3 and SHERIFF 1 AND 2. can someone please help me out with this issue?

you need els compatible vehicle and remember to put the VCF file into the pack-default folder

I have no idea what I'm possibly doing wrong. I have everything installed correctly (Assuming that the ease of drag and drop and following the read-me's to the letter are idiot proof) and yet, no matter what I do, I can't get ELS to load. All of my advancedhookV's are in the main GTA folder and are the ones that came with the pack. ELS just seems to fail to load every time. Any suggestions, kids?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Or, as I seem to not be able to locate a thread, perhaps a direction there if any other ideas?

Sorry if already answered and i missed but, is there a way to change the brightness of the lights? in daytime i can hardly see my lightbar lights :( great mod tho otherwise

Try to update your Script Hook V from there  http://www.dev-c.com/gtav/scripthookv/. Also it may be the permissions issue, try to run your gtav.exe or ragepluginhook.exe with the Administrator rights.

Is there anyway to reload ELS once in game? it's annoying sometimes to edit the XML files, and have to restart the game.

I've run into a bit of an odd issue, with LSPDFR 0.3.1, RPH 0.49, and ELS-V 1.0.0 in which my vehicle will turn off (and the lights will dim as if I don't have Radiance V installed, even though I do) when I exit the vehicle with STAGE 1 and STAGE 2 running. I have the vehicle engine set to ALWAYS ON via LSPDFR's Interaction Menu, and Leave Vehicle Running in Simple Trainer. When I don't have any lights activated, or when I have STAGE 3 running, the vehicle will stay on and the lights will shine like they are their own suns. Anyone else having this issue?

I tried that. It's still freezing up everytime I do anything ELS related, if I turn on a siren freezes, on all cars. It isn't crashing the game just freezing for about 5 seconds
