Emergency Lighting System 1.05

Seeing as i'm not the only one with the problem with ELS not working has anyone found a fix? I've installed it correctly and even watched a couple install turtorials and I did install everything correctly. The ELS files, the vehicle, the vehicle ELS file, everything. Any idea?

Does your ELS.log show a successful ELS loadup? Mine does and it still doesn't work.

what does your asiloader.log say? The ELS.log lies.

Welp, I'm sorry to say I don't know then. I had this problem the other day because I move files around for specific mods and forgot the AdvancedHookV.dll. ELS said it was loading via the ELS.log, but asiloader reported a failure. No UI, press J and no sirens. Putting the .dll file back fixed it.

Mines showing it failed to load. Its installed correctly tho. Sorry bout to late reply.

Update: I managed to fix it. Turns out my keyboard by default has scroll lock off so it disabled ELS in game. I just pushed it again and got everything to work.

Do you have up to date scripthook V and all the microsoft required files?

Well that's fucking weird. Scroll lock is always disabled by default... pressing it to activate it is what 'disables' ELS keybindings. Oh well, glad you figured it out.

Means the keys for ELS won't work. You enable it to prevent key conflicts while doing other stuff and thangs.

For me, the D-pad buttons were defaults for toggling light stages and enabling sirens. 

I'm having an issue where, when a vehicle flees from a traffic stop, they just drive in a straight line...all help is greatly appreciated.

I hope this make sense. Is there a setting for what siren the ai uses for the primary siren? many times the ai uses the siren mostly used going through intersections as thier primary.

Hey guys. Seems like my scene lights aren't working at all. Button isn't showing up, hotkey isn't working either. Vehicle actually has scene lights enabled in config file. Every car I have does have scene lights enabled, but there's no such option in-game. WTH? Maybe I missed something, though I've read official guide?

For example, CVPI by BxBugs featured in Albo's video has scene lighting (button is there as you can see), but in my game it does not.

Hi need a FIRETRUK ELS xml file or lines, have a ELS Firetruck but is using a renamed ELS xml file... So my firetruck has police siren and warning sounds now. If any one has a little time to invest in this it would be great. Make one for the ambulance too while your at it.

I believe everyone is having this issue, but 1 minor detail can't break the game. I just hope that Lt.Caine will add an option to change the key binding as to what eneables/disables ELS key bindings.

I don't know where I should report bugs, but I'm gonna create bugreport right here.

So.

Game version: 944

RPH version: 0.49.1041.10069

Other .asi mods: BVA, ENT

Issue description: scene lights (SCL) do not work for me. I have 4 vehicles installed, 3 of them actually have scene lights, they're enabled in VCF and supposed to be working. SCL button isn't active (it shows as "-"). Hotkey (alt+]) does not work. Removing other .asi plugins does not resolve the problem. Reinstalling does not resolve the problem. Seems like ELS does not read particular settings from .ini file. Seems like nobody else has this problem (I'm lucky).

When does custom siren support come?

With ELS installed I seem to be having problems with being able to switch Components on vehicles. Is anyone else having this problem or do they know a fix?

The lights aren't working, the menu isn't working, all i hear is the siren, and its really frustrating, help please

ya I notice that also. The only fix that I know is spawning the car in until you get the right components you want. GTA 4 had the same issue if I recall.
