Emergency Lighting System 1.05

I'm curious, is there a way to customize the modifier to be Ctrl instead of Alt? I might be missing the option in the ini but from what I can see I am unable to swap the modifier.

There is indeed no option for this at this time.

However with siren mastery removed, I still have no controller function. I don't believe I missed any instructions and I've read all the setups. Anyone got any input that might assist me? Thanks.

You'll need to remove any Free my Controller files from your game, or controller input will not be picked up by ELS unfortunately.

I don't know where you read about adding custom siren audio into ELS outside the standard game files, but this isn't a feature. ELS uses the sirens installed in vehicles.awc.

Love the controller support but some of the controls designated by default conflict with other stuff.

Also, is there a way to save the patterns? If I change my siren the pattern changes, kinda just want the one pattern, lol.

If you look in the .ini, at the bottom there is a [Controls] section with functions and numbers. Those numbers are ascii codes, which if you bring up this website, you can change the controls.

However, @Lt.Caine, there is no option to change the code to pause ELS, as it is currently Scroll Lock, but I need to change it to a different key, due to conflict. Please change this.

I found the problem, the sirens I was using was putting the sound library over 15.7mb, causing it to not be loading. Everything is working fine now.

What about the alt+1, 2, 3 etc keys?  I press the alt key and 1 and nothing happens.  Or is alt 1 some random other key?

EDIT! Resolved. Apparently ScriptHook found itself uninstalled at some point.

Should the ELS Panel appear automatically when getting in an ELS Compatible Car?

I'm having issues installing ELS on Retail. After a few hours of trying all three available ELS models of cars, I'm at a loss. I even cleaned out all my LSPDFR Plugins to ensure nothing is conflicting.

What I've done (fresh install):

1) Download LSPDFR, drag files into Grand Theft Auto

2) Update Rage Hook Plugin, overwrite files

3) Download ELS, drag the files in INSTALLATION FILES/Grand Theft Auto V the GTAV folder.

4) Downloaded 2011 Crown Victoria ELS

5) Placed polce.ytf, police.ytd, police_hi.ytf, and police+hi.ytd in mods/update/x64/dlcpacks/patchday11ng/dlc.rpf/x64/levels/gta5

6) Placed police.xml inside Grand Theft Auto/ELS/pack_default (overwriting the original)

7) Double click RagePluginHook from GTA directory

8) Push F4 and type "gotopd"

9) Go into locker room, start LSPDFR

10) Walk out into parking lot, get inside one of the 2011 Crown Victoria Models

- (no panel pops up) -

11) Push Ctrl + P, no panel still shows up

12) Turn on siren, only the back lights light up...

I tried using some of the other keys, but nothing was working. Tried pushing scroll which should lock/unlock ELS, still nothing...

Overall, I can't figure out if it's a problem with ELS or with the model... how can I check if ELS is running? I don't have to load it into RagePluginHook, do I?

Isn't that section only for keyboard keys though not a gamepad?

would love to see the ability to turn on the alley lights on the light bar like in real life u have one on the left and right of the light bar. over all fantastic job

did you install scripthook and scripthookdotnet? you will need them to get it to work properly. nvm sry hadn't noticed you already fixxed it

PER THE DOCUMENTATION.  it says to open the control panel (CTRL P) is the default. it doesnt work though. It brings up the map by default. looking into the key bindings in gta v i did not see a way to turn that ctrl p off for bringing up the map. Unless that is an lspdfr key binding?

So how is this activated?

That did not work. Still will not open. CTRLP still brings up the map. Now even on non els vehicles the siren and lights dont work at all. via my normal commands. 

Great Mod! It's finally coming!

HOWEVER. There is one problem. Right now seems like ELS is messing up with the components of ALL the vehicles, ELS or NON-ELS cars. If you tried to turn component on/off with trainer the component will simply not showing up. Seems like ELS is achieving different lighting setups by changing vehicle components and when you deal with other vehicle which are NOT ELS capable, meaning that ELS will not work by any means, the very own components on the vehicle will have some bug AKA not showing up completely. Example. I have a Unmarked P71 and almost all components can not be turned on by trainer anymore.. Issue gone after uninstall ELS. Hopefully that is a issue can be solved in a future patch. If not, I am pretty sure some modder will find someway to loop around or so. Anyways, Nice Work!

The only mods im using is the ELS CAR Visual V and natural vision enb oh and some road mod.. 

its driving me nuts haha..

Still having the same issue with no bloom for police lights up close. I have my Shader quality on High and my Post FX on high, but still nothing :(

 

 

 

 

EDIT:

 

Managed to fix it by adding the mod 'Bright Lights', which enabled bloom to my lights!

ELS doesnt work for me. When i turn on the lights with J only the headlights start blinking nothing else.

i reinstalled my GTA V but that didnt changed anythink.

i need help installing els... i installed everything from the .zip into my gtav folder. i also installed bxbuggs cvpi. when i start the game and hop into the car, the lights are not working (even the panel is not showing up). i reinstalled els and the car like 5 times now... please help me!!!!!!

You prob need a better enb and visual setting, I use an enb called darker night and graphic.ytd from a mod called improved spotlight and led lighting and also my visual setting is from a mod called bright els and lastly my carcols is from a mod called improved lighting pattern, Sometimes you need to mix your setting with different mod to get the best.

Even though you may already have an advanced hook, did you place the advancedhook from the zip into the directory as well?

Do you have script hook?

You really dont need to, I am using the older version of gta v and rageplugin, But the els works. Maybe you need to take out yur mod folder and install it again with only bxbuggs cvpi  that works with els. Most time the issue is from the mod folder not yur game.
