I am proud to finally present my LSSD Pack featuring a 2011 Crown Victoria, 2013 Tahoe (Marked and Unmarked), and 2013 Charger (Marked and Unmarked)! All vehicles feature ELS-inspired lighting setups (complete with environmental lighting) all accomplished without the use of any scripts or plugins. The lighting setup features all Federal Signal equipment and is complimentary to the other vehicles. The vehicles also feature the following extras:

  • Extra 1: Spotlight up (Sheriff Units)
  • Extra 2: Spotlight down (Sheriff Units)
  • Extra 7: Setina Rambar
  • Extra 10: Panasonic Arbitrator Dashcam
  • Extra 12: Stalker Radar Unit
  •

Thanks to @FirstThirtyMinutes for featuring one of the vehicles and including an installation guide!

Installation uses OIV packages and is as simple as can be. To install the vehicle, just follow the directions in the readme or watch FirstThirtyMinutes's video above.

**If you experience your game crashing on start-up after installation, please download and install this gameconfig.xml to fix the problem: https://www.gta5-mods.com/misc/add-on-car-crash-fix

The Charger/Tahoe in the FIB/FIB2 slots currently don't support multiple liveries (just one) and I'm not quite sure why. I have the vehicles.meta set up properly. They do accept a single livery however, and their marked counterparts accept multiple liveries.

One last note: the included textures were quickly tossed together by me and are vanilla style. They aren't the best, so I apologize for that. If you would like to change them, templates are included. If you make a good quality black/white sheriff skin and would like me to use it as the default for my pack please message me!

Enjoy!

For some reason the blue lights on the light bar or the lights on the grill for sheriff and sheriff wont light up. It happened after the game updated and i installed the custom visuals mod. could that be the reason?

Is there any way to use the sheriff charger without the yellow lights and instead have just the blue/red? The sheriff tahoe spawns sometimes with all blue/red, but I haven't been able to find a way for the charger to do so. I've gone through all the extras on both vehicles with no luck.

Yes, there is! Use something like simple trainer to change the vehicle's components. One of them switches between yellow and just blue and red.

I love the cars an stuff but for some reason the FBI car lights are bright like the video but the sheriff cars are not. I have radiance v an visual v.

This works for the the tahoe, but not the charger for some reason. Extra 5 changes the lights on the tahoe, but none of the extras change the lights on the charger. It's not a deal breaker as the cars are awesome, I just prefer the red/blue setup.

Same for me. Before the update i was able to remove the yellow light.

Hi

first of all, great Vehicles!

Just one question: can you make a OIV uninstall pack?

Thank you.

For some reason only red lights are showing on Sheriff Vics now

Ever since I installed this pack, every time I call for backup in Blaine County only the charger spawns, not the tahoe!

How do I enable the extras?

I love this pack, however it looks like there is a bug or an error with the mirrors on both chargers. It takes the texture for the outside and puts it there as well. Screenshot_5.png

Is it possible to remove the amber lights from the Charger's light bar?

I am having problems with the sheriff part of this pack. The Tahoe and charger only have red lights, no blue. The CVPI has a weird orange light. Any reason? I have scoured all my game files for any interference and have found nothing. I suspect it has to do with a lightsetting or sirensetting? Thanks  for any help!

@Nathaniel Sutton Have you installed a custom carcols into update.rpf at any point?  If so, it may have conflicting sirensettings to the ones in this pack.  To fix it, simply restore the update.rpf carcols back to the base game one.

Hey @Captain14, absolutely loving these models, fantastic work. I do however have a question: is it possible to have additional addon vehicles? I've tried installing them into your dlc folders as well as Rockstars, I've edited your vehicle and carvariation files as well as Rockstars, but every time I do it crashes the game. Also, I'd like to be able to use TheHurk's 2014 CHP BMW bike but I'm pretty sure editing those vehicle and carvariation files would crash the game, right? Is there any way around this? Thank you!

If you want additional addons you'll need a custom gameconfig.xml to support the additional cars.

I'm having the same issue with the blue lights on the charger and tahoe, the cvpi and FIB cars work just fine.  I do not think I have changed any carcols other than what this or the previous OIV file had done. I am also running Custom Visuals mod.  Thank you, this pack and your others are excellent and a true plus for the community.

The problem was Custom Visuals which alters the carcols.  I reverted back to normal and all is well.  If you don't see blue lights this is the fix.

The wheels disappear even though the car is still visible.

I would love to use some of these vehicles on my FiveReborn server, is there any way to use them with default lighting patterns so you don't have to have all the stuff in the dlc installer? (whenever I've tried to install these before there were absolutely no lights)

200th comment . Techengage has his custom visuals 3.0.0 released and with those carcols active (they support my police 1,4,fbi slots) (your lspd/fbi2 pack fills everything else) The sheriff2 lights are just totally not able to function with the siren settings provided (even with the custom carcols within the pack). I cannot find an acceptable fix to this because I want to keep the custom visual carcols in the game. Shame because your Tahoe is still badass.
