NOTES:
I know that the lighting isn't the greatest, this is designed for Blaine County and there will be updates in the future when I get better at ZModeler and can fix the lights but I am busy right now and want to just get this up.
Bugs are known, so please don't rate low because of them, it works...
THANK YOU VERY MUCH TO THERO!!!
Since I am a noob at ZModeler he took my original model and remade it and mapped it for me.
The skin and lights added to the rig are by me.
Cab and ambulance lights: ROCKSTAR
BOX: - Original Ford E450 cutaway cab model procured from 3dcadbrowser.com (and provided by Bxbgus123).
- Entire vehicle converted to GTAV by PimDSLR.
- The entire vehicle model was extensively optimized, modified, and templated by Lt.Caine.
ENJOY MY FELLOW RESCUE PERSONAL!!!
I MAY DO MORE WORK ON THIS BUT I AM A AEMT AND I HAVE WINDOWS 8.1 FOR NOW, SO THAT'S A THING...
INSTALL into x64e, You're a bright enough indivual to figure out where that is, I have faith in you!
MY AIRHORN IS CUSTOM RECORDED FROM MY SQUADS RIG, SIREN IS WHELEN ALPHA!

It looks good-ish.... but why....

I mean I could see this being a Heavy Rescue Truck, but the cab should be much bigger to look right and to be useful given the size of the engine carrying.

While I know that it isn't the best model or skin in the world, we don't have many options in regards to ambulances in the game, so for anyone who knows rescue squads in the country, they have larger ambulances. I do appreciate the feedback but I will remind you that it is a work in progress and everything is subject to change. And honestly I like the size of it, the box isn't scaled up because it would make it look stupid. This is just a concept.

Best regards,

Sam

The idea came from my squads ambulance, an example can be found below, however my squad doesn't have photos of our rigs.

Exactly why I commented this and didn't write you a review yet. I don't want to comment on things in a review that you might change in the future.

Maybe it's just the size of the rig, but it looks like the cab should be wider. The height and length look fine, it just looks odd being the same width as the rig itself. Especially when judging off other actual rigs, just like the one you linked. Which speaking of, if you figure out a way to use the front of a Guardian Truck that would look very close, and many rigs do actually use an F650.

Again, just providing some feedback. I look forward to future versions!

Saw feedback on another site as well for the model. So everyone is thinking the back box should be widen more? Or the whole vehicle itself?

I say yes it should be widen and if you could level it with the cab too if you can. It would also be nice to see other light setup like an led light bar but the priority should be on the other things first.

I'll leave it up to the author since its really his model and I just simply put it together for him

this thing is amazing for a WIP. i would say suspension should be tuned a little to raise the rear. and either, if you can, shrink the front cab, or widen the rear box a little bit. my FD has an international truck like you are going for, and this is going to be an amazing mod if you stick with it. nice job so far OP!!

I think the box should be bigger

I'd like something like pictured below, that picture hardly does it justice. That ambulance is about as long as a fire engine.

Thank you to everyone who is giving feedback. I am going to look into getting another version with some small changes out eventually, however I have a lot going on right now. If anyone is looking for any other skins that are like the one on this model I have made this skin for the E450 and the Ford Expedition, I also have skins for the default ambulance, the Ram 3500 Ambulance, The F450 Rescue Truck, A Tahoe and a Explorer.  I also have an .XML map editor file that is a awesome station next to ammunation in Paleto Bay. I would love to share my love for Blaine County with anyone who want it.

Thanks!

Rear suspension and LED bar up front with some grills? also brighten the back lights a bit if possible, direct sunlight makes them hard to see, nice work though definitely

at least you didn't make something like this "hybrid" (although, that'd be semi cool)

can this be done as an add-on???

It would be up to the original author @Quakex64 . I just simply Frankenstein the thing and then put it together and templated it for him. He took care of the lights and came up with the original idea

Do you use the Lux EMS Pack by Lt. Caine.

I am planning on releasing a better handling line and modifications so it works in the ambulance2 slot with his pack. If not I can always also add another addon.

Soon enough it will be released, I just need to finish up with the new skin and sound mod for it.

Thanks!

@DoUgHMaN well I have that pack but no matter what I do, no matter what I edit and replace, add-ons just simply do not work for me... despite doing everything readmes/installation files say to do.

I'm guessing it's not possible to have custom plates on this right? I can't locate them in the texture files.

Unfortunately at this time that is not an option.  I personally like having the default plates because in my opinion they look more realistic (not the SA but how it is actually not just 2d) but that is just my opinion.

Maybe in the future.

I do, now, use the  Lux EMS Pac, I just want to use this or the rambulance as the regular ambulance  so that if I were to shoot a ped and the ambulance comes I dont get the park ranger or life guard livery

I know this is a hella old comment, but you can technically make any vehicle into an add on, just have to rename the files and add the appropriate metas

Red1633

is there a police texture for this vehicle ??

Funny how on gta 5 mods it's rated at 2.9 stars, yet here it's five stars. Gotta say the ratings here are realistic as the ratings on that site are fake.
