Something that has been several years in the making to go along with my other packs. This is a pack based on KHP's Troop A Region, which covers the Kansas City metro area including Johnson County, Wyandotte County, Miami County and Leavenworth County. While the smallest troop geographically, they are the busiest in the state. As KHP retires vehicles at only 49,500 miles, the fleet in this pack is kind of outdated, but I'm waiting on parts for some of their newest vehicles. Needless to say, I worked my ass off on this pack, so please enjoy. Included are 21 vehicle models and 42 liveries. Spotlights can be toggled by pressing H.

 

All vehicles are based on real life between unit numbers, patterns and equipment as close as possible.

INSTALL (YOU WILL NEED TO USE THE DLC!!!! THERE IS NO REPLACEMENT WITHOUT EDITING A SHIT TON OF META FILES) USE MY DISCORD FOR SUPPORT!

This pack will only contain a DLC option. There a various .metas that are required for the vehicles to function properly.

 

You will need a gameconfig file for limitless vehicles. I recommend this:

NEXT

 

Go here:
D:\Grand Theft Auto V\mods\update\x64\dlcpacks

Paste the entire "KHP" folder containing the DLC into here

Navigate here :

D:\Grand Theft Auto V\mods\update\update.rpf\common\data

Find your dlclist.xml, left click edit, scroll to the bottom

Copy this line. The one right here : <Item>dlcpacks:/khp/</Item>

Paste that in the bottom, following the same format as all the other entries.

Install your necessary ELS files in the normal place.

 

If you follow these instructions, and don't fuck anything up, you're good to go.

PLEASE MAKE A GOD DAMN BACKUP, IM NOT RESPONSIBLE IF YOU BREAK YOUR SHIT.

I know these might be a little harsh for some people, but if you saw my DM's after this kind of stuff you would understand. That's partly why I never release.

FAQs:

 

ADD THE GRAPPLER TAHOE/MUSTANG-

No. There is a lack of reference/parts at the moment. If I do those, they will go on discord long before here.

 

My lights are dim-
You need to install a light enhancing mod
 

Make it replace instead of DLC-

No. These vehicles require special metas the average person won't know how to add without completely bricking their game. This takes 5 minutes and is the easiest way.

 

Change something for my personal taste-

No. These vehicles are designed to be as realistic as possible and with my taste. If you don't like it, make something yourself.

 

Change it to Los Santos instead of the real life name-

No. I plan on splitting Los Santos into multiple different agencies, and have no intention of having 3 or 4 "Los Santos PDs" in my game.


XYZ is wrong-

I've done countless days of research on these vehicles, and unless you have direct access to these vehicles, I probably know better. If anything is wrong, it is due to a lack of information or GTA limitations, such as parts or ELS limitations.

Look, GTA is a poorly optimized game constantly updating that can be randomly broken for some people with zero logical reason. This version of the pack was tested by dozens of people in early access on my discord without any bugs being reported. You may be making some small mistake we aren't determining, or you may just be unlucky, like I am when it comes to getting ENB to work. But just because it's broken for you doesn't mean it's broken for everyone else.

This might seem like a dumb question/request but would it be possible to get a version that uses the default GTA plates from vehshare.ytd? The plates are just blank unless the user creates a plate texture on their livery.

lmao that's a great description. We mount them so far back so they are more visible from the rear. We had multiple complaints when the lightbar was centered, that once you got a few car lengths behind that it was hard too see. We already have the largest pads underneath the mounting feet, since we can't raise it any higher that was the solution that was made.
