A pack of vanilla cars modified to be ELS compatible, using only lore friendly parts; contains a Stanier, Buffalo, Interceptor, an unmarked Stanier, Gresley and Granger, equipped with Yard's "Liberty", a traffic advisor, and lore friendly interior equipment.

You can just rename police (for example) from this pack to policeport, move livery from policeport from RDE to new, then copy ELS's file for police and change model name inside it to policeport. These vehicles are almost identical and, i think, no .meta or .ytd changes required.

 

I tried this with police and police6, replaced sheriff and sheriff2 with models from this file, then edited ELS file, and everything works ok.

But for some reason GTA crashes if I try to enter the PoliceInsurgent.
I can spawn it without any poblem but cannot enter it. Any idea?

Entering it causing crashes may be due to an error in the vehicles.meta entry. I know this issue was being had with some RDE vehicles due to an incorrect <layout> line. For the Insurgent, make sure the layout line is: <layout>LAYOUT_VAN_ARMORED</layout>. However, looking at the entry I supplied in the readme appears to be correct, so I'm not sure why that would be causing issues.

By 'rotary lights' do you mean the vanilla MX7000 bar? I do have plans to add a rotator bar to some of the models, however it's a modified version of it, made to look more like the Excalibur.

I did actually attempt to convert the vanilla Vector/Vision into ELS; however I couldn't get it to look good, so it's funny you mention it. I suppose I could "cheat" and set it up as ROTAs, but I think they look better with the pod spinning around a emissive.

I sat down tonight writing reviews and since my graphics card recently broke, I was lagging a lot from high end vehicles. Having the stock vehicles with ELS configured is really saving me. Thanks!

@NefariousBonne Hey just thought I'd mention that for one reason or another... I cannot Spawn in Sheriff3 or Sheriff4. Both simply say "Invalid Model".

 

What I've done:

Installed Vehicles.meta and Carvarations.meta to their respective locations.

I've installed the models into Patchday14 (because I don't use R.D.E.)

 

All other models of yours that I've installed are working as intended (Police 1 through 6, Park Ranger, and Sheriff 1 and 2). Just wondering if you have any ideas regarding where exactly I went wrong lol. I'm sure I missed something somewhere, but I'm at a loss. Thank you in any case, and besides those two models I'm LOVING this pack!

On vehicles with blue lights, their reflections from the surroundings are in red and blue. Please, fix it.

Someone else had a similar issue, but it was with the riot vehicles, as I recommended to them, try installing them into a different DLC, such as mpheist and see if the issue persists. I'm not sure if that issue fixed it for them, as they never responded back. Oh well. Anywho, try that, and if that doesn't work, feel free to PM and I'll do my best to further help.

Make sure you're using the VCF files that came with (and not the optional red/blue ones that came with), I checked them again just now, and they are set up correctly.

This happens in a pack of "County Pack". I changed the usual textures to "Alternate ELS Textures". I also use VCF files from this package.

I checked again and now only in "pranger" has this problem. "Sheriff" and "sheriff2" work properly.

I'm having a strange issue with the Contende (that has the bed cover).  The inside is not textured.  Everything is named as it should be, and my meta and carvar for the model are correct.  Everything else about the model is fine except for this.

Can you provide a picture of what you mean? If the interior is missing textures that means the interior textures are not be loaded. Should look like this (at the bottom of vehicles.meta):

I think I see your problem; the entry should be at the bottom of vehicles.meta, alongside the other child entries; underneath the <txdRelationships>. You should have a bunch of entries at the bottom that look like this:
