Vanilla as in these these are vanilla vehicles, you might be confusing it with Rockstar vanilla, which are how they look by default.

Well, first of all, i think it's a great idea!

The LOD- work is pretty well done. Great job on this:thumbsup:.

But in my opinion it needs some improvements:

1. Add working TD

2. The Takedown lights should be the warning lights, so extra 5,6

3. The TA should be set as extra 7,8,9 to be a real TA

4. And the vanilla lightbar should be scaled a bit bigger

  1. Takedowns were an afterthought
  2. See above
  3. The traffic advisor is extra 7, 8 and 9, not sure what you're talking about
  4. Just used Yard's original scaling.

Well, if the TA is extra 7,8,9, why can't i use a directional mode?

And why does it have 140 pattern?

The TA only has 39 pattern.

If you loaded up any of the models in OpenIV, you could check "misc_rear" to see how the T/A is set up. The advisor is set up as: 7-8-9-9-8-7, extra 7 is the farthest out, extra 8 is the inner two, and extra 9 is the middle.

Wanted to do something unique, if was originally done as 7-8-9, but scrapped for something unique. This is the last time I'll be creative, I promise.

How old are you?

It's just my opinion.

Don't give me that attitude.

It's your mod.

You can do what ever you want.

I didn't wrote this to make you angry or feel bad.

I just think it looks better, when the TA is traditionally set up with 7,8,9.

And working TD's are very useful at night.

If you don't want to change it, good.

Just to clear something up with you; I have no ill will against you, or your opinion. And that "attitude" was sarcasm, and not directed at you, but rather an acquaintance and fellow modeler, Five0.

That might be a problem with arrest manager or ELS though

Police4 rear light bar is too dark to see

Is there another way to install than using mpchristmas2? My game crashes instantly.

Well, yes. You can technically install it to any DLC that added vehicles. "mpchristmas2" is just what happens to be the most common way of installing addon cars, at least from what I've seen. Perhaps try something like "mpapartment" or "mpheist" and get back to me. Personally I just use RDE, as it centralizes all your police mods.

Well I could use any DLC, some however do not have the dreaded carvariations or vehicles meta files that's why I'm asking.

I also had RDE back then and then went back to vanilla, just didn't want to reinstall it all haha

Just ignore me; I'm just a horrible sellout, as RDE is my main project; being in charge of vehicles, all that good stuff.

But no; both the ones I suggested, namely "mpapartment" and "mpheist", both have a carvariations.meta and vehicles.meta. Give one of them a try; if it still fails, then I'm not sure what's going wrong.

Quick question.

Will you do this for the other RDE's Emergency Vehicles aswell? fx with the Policeport or someting like that?
