Traffic Policer for LSPDFR

If you put them in the correct folder, they wouldn't show up as 'unverified plugins', because when placed in \plugins\LSPDFR, they are not listed as plugins and they load when you go on duty in LSPDFR. You did not install the mod correctly if they are displaying as unverified plugins.

I have the spotlight mod, the breathalyzer, the vehicle search mod and a few others, which do the same, but when i click the "yes" button, to load it, it actually loads. The exact same thing is happening with Traffic Policer.dll but when that file is prompting me to click yes, NOTHING happens when i do. Not even the slightest lag, suggesting its loading or nothing.

Right, those are just plugins. Albo's Traffic Policer and Arrest Manager are "API Plugins". All API plugins must go into \Plugins\LSPDFR and they are not loaded via RPH startup, but automatically when you go on duty in LSPDFR. This includes all callout mods, etc.

Maybe this helps. Click this link: http://www.lcpdfr.com/downloads/gta5mods/scripts/?sortby=file_updated&advanced_search_submitted=1&downloads_field_15=Yes&sortby=file_updated&sortdirection=desc&page=1

All of these are "API Plugins" and must be installed into \Plugins\LSPDFR, versus just the \Plugins folder.

Let me know if that isn't clear.

Well.. Its pretty clear in the video, i mean i've done exactly what he does in the video - AND tried other stuff when that didnt work out.
I've come to a point where the only remaining problem can be the sound files, that goes into GTA V/LSPDFR/Police scanner is simply put in there wrong.

But i've done, step by step, whats been done in the video, so there's no logical explanation as to why it wouldnt work. - I've made sure that my RHP is up-to-date, updated LSPDFR.. everything.. Im litteraly out of ideas..

Im curious, the mods listed as "needed for best experience" where i found the breathalyzer among others, are ALL of those needed? or can i run the mod completely without them?

I have done exactly what he did in the video, to perfection. I deleted ALL of my mods, LSPDFR and every "addon mod" i had, which left me with Vanilla GTA 5..Then i did EXACTLY what he did in the tutorial.. So if he put them in that folder, then yes.

I have watched that video beyond recognition.. Down to every second, over and over again. As mentioned in my reply to Kilyin, i have replicated your folders down to the smallest detail.

First of all, if it is located in the folder your video suggests, it doesnt even show ingame. Even when i realise nothing is happening and i try to force load it, it doesnt show in the Console at all. And the game itself gives me an error as to where it is located. (suggesting it should be put somewhere else) But if i simply put them in the Plugins folder, as Kilyin suggested that i did, then i can actually see it in the console. Then, when i try to force load it, it gives me the same ol message about it possibly being malicious and all that, i click "yes" to load it, and it gives me the error posted in my last reply.

Its not rocket science, its 3 simple files and a folder needed to be put somewhere. Even if i tried, there's not many ways to do it wrong.

You shouldn't be loading the plugin at all. It is automatically loaded by LSPDFR.

The files should be in GTA V/Plugins/LSPDFR. That means NOT in GTA V/Plugins.

This is clearly stated in the video. If for some reason you are still having a problem please send me screenshots of your GTA V folders.

I have done exactly like you. There's no doubt the files has been placed just like you did in the video.

I have taken a few screenshots of my GTA V folders, with the folders in question, highlighted. - PM'ed them to you.

Why is it you seem to be the only person having all of these issues? I use Traffic Policer and Arrest Manager and I've read the ReadMe files that come with both Plugins and have had zero issues with either of these.. A lot of people have downloaded and used both of those without issue. The Readme files are very simple to understand..

As I said, its not rocket science. Its easy. And im not bashing his material, because i've seen my friends use it. I think its amazing what he has done, the reason im complaining this much is becuase I wanna use it my self..

And even if he had a Readme that explained it down to a point where infants would understand it, I would still sit back helpless, because, as mentioned previously, I have done exactly like Albo. In fact, if you place albos directory RIGHT next to mine, you would only be able to tell the difference because I have some mods he dont, and hes got some I dont.. - The point is, the Traffic Policer files and folder, is located EXACTLY where Albo's are located.

I'm using Arrest Manager myself, and that works just perfect. The problem is, when I put the files in the (right) place, it simply acts as if nothing's there. I might aswell play without it then.. no errors, no loading, no nothing.. - BUT when I put the files (except all the audio files of course) into the plugin folder (wrong place) it actually produces an error message in the console, ingame. I have never seen this happen before and i havent been able to find any solutions on the interwebs.

Have you tried to remove Traffic Policer and re-install it? Can I see a screenshot of your GTAV Directory, Plugins Directory, LSPDFR from main Directory and the LSPDFR Folder sitting in the Plugins Folder. Also a copy of your RagePluginHook log file.. You can PM them to me if you want..

NEver put it in the Plugins folder, that will not work. Have you sent Kal74 your screenshots and logs?

But sure, i'll take a bunch of screenshots and pm them to you!

I really do appreciate all the help you guys are giving me! I hope we can make it work!

And two screenshots with the error message it gives me.

Ok FYI, you have SpeedRadar.dll and the SpeedRadar.ini, in 2 locations, according to the screenshots you have them in the Plugins Folder, and in the main directory. Get rid of them from the Main GTAV Directory.. The CalloutsV_Audio file is missing from the LSPDFR Folder where all the audio files are located..

Have you updated Code3 Callouts? I ask because if you did, that NAudio.dll file in your Main GTAV directory should have been removed per the instructions of the ReadMe File. The update also came with an update to Stealth.Common DLL..

I see you are using ScriptHookV, have you updated since GTAV updated? if not, go here to get it http://www.dev-c.com/gtav/scripthookv/

Do me another favor, can you repost your RagePluginHook log, this time make sure its the entire log please.. You can use http://pastebin.com/  to put the whole log in and then copy and paste the link from the address bar here, please.

I updated this because you are already playing the mod, you just can't get this plugin working.. so its not a ragehook issue as far as I can tell, just repost that log for me please

Just for the hell of it, do you have another copy of GTAV sitting somewhere else? in another directory maybe or is that the only copy?

Yeah i know some of the mods, the speedradar for example, is more than one place.. but hell, its working.

i'll see if i can post the entire log.

And no, i dont have any other copy of the game, unfortunately.

ok I will be waiting for your log. Did you already update scripthookv? Also, despite whether something is working or not, you really shouldn't have files in multiple places if it doesn't tell you to do that in the ReadMe. Did you update Code3 Callouts?

yup, i triple checked that everything that i have is up to date.

PM'ed you the log.

You might have some kind of file corruption going on..I don't know, it's either that or you have files missing.. out of date plugins or something you are using is causing conflict..There are a lot of people who run this Plugin, including myself and I have no issues running it at all, so this is clearly an issue on your end..  I also, run Police Radio and it runs just fine for me, but if you look at errors from your logfile, you are having the same error occuring with Police Radio as well...I know that you said you put the files in another folder to generate the error, but there is no reason for you to do that. I suggest you start a fresh new GTAV install,  re-add LSPDFR and re-add the newest RagePluginHook. or just remove Traffic Policer and ignore me...

Same type of error you are having with Traffic Policer, you are having with the Police Radio as well : [26-10-2015 06:56:07.364] ERROR: Could not load plugin from "D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto V\Plugins\PoliceRadio.dll". Could not load file or assembly 'PoliceRadio, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.

Seeing this throughout your log: Invalid call to console command, example here [26-10-2015 07:43:55.576] Invalid call to console command "LoadPlugin": Could not find file 'D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto V\Plugins\PoliceRadio.dll'.

and Traffic Policer: [26-10-2015 10:24:25.752] ERROR: Could not load plugin from "D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto V\Plugins\Traffic Policer.dll". Could not load file or assembly 'Traffic Policer, Version=4.5.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.

Seeing this throughout your log [26-10-2015 10:20:35.161] Invalid call to console command "LoadPlugin": Could not find file 'D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto V\Plugins\TrafficPolicer.dll'.

Your screenshot shows both those plugins in the correct folder.. Your log is generating errors for those other 2 plugins I mentioned before, unless that is due to you purposefully placing the files in the wrong folders to generate errors, again no clue why you would even do that..

Also, if you are attempting to load some of these plugins via the in game console, you shouldn't be, most, if not all of these plugins load automatically per the readme.. So when you launch RagePluginHook.. all of those plugins should load automatically unless otherwise configured in the RagePluginHook Config Console.

So either you have some type of file corruption going on or you are attempting to load plugins via the in game console, outdated plugins.. Only you would know if you are hitting F4 and typing in LoadPlugin.. I am just speculating, either way the log does not match up with your screenshots and what you have said you have done, not done, double checked, triple checked, whatever the case may be.. I would personally re-install everything from scratch..but that is just me.

Thank you for the help, its greatly apreciated. - as mentioned before, the only reason i put them in the wrong folder was because, that is the absolute only way for me to get an error message. If i put the files in the correct folder (as shown in the tutorial), the game will simply not acknowledge the files. It acts as if the files were never put there to begin with. I cant access it ingame and the features it would provide me with arent there. So yes, i might have to start a fresh install.

Again, thank you so much, all of you who tried to help.

no problem at all.. I genuinely wanted to help you resolve the issues, but placing the files different folders just to generate errors wouldn't help us resolve anything, it would just generate errors and that wouldn't really help us, to help you.. So a fresh install of GTAV, LSPDFR, RagePluginHook v28, should hopefully alleviate the issues you are currently having.

Not really sure what is wrong, but I have finally started to update all of my mods because I haven't played much for awhile. I downloaded the latest version of this, and I opened up 7Zip. But it keeps telling me it could not be unpacked because it may be damaged. I have never had an issue with 7Zip until now. Any ideas?

7zip has never failed to unzip anything for me including this mod, and it's open source so it doesn't nag you to buy it.

Sounds like your download corrupted. Try downloading it again and try opening it after that's done.

Whats the deal with the web site opening loading the mod? is it because needing ragehook 28?  Unfortunately I can not run gta with rh28 as it just crashes. If this is the case I'll stop u[pdating arrest manager and traffic policer for the meantime
