Major Update 1.2.0 Now Live! New Levels Added!

ABOUT

Interior Callouts is a unique callouts pack that utilizes Enable All Interiors to create intense, realistic police/SWAT scenarios. Each callout is meticulously crafted to provide a sense of real-life police interactions, where people are inherently unpredictable. This callout uses randomized probability to decide on the behavior of every single AI in each call, ensuring multiple different outcomes and maximum replayablility.

While there are only two callouts in the pack at the moment, each provides a unique experience.

  •       Trespassing – A police scenario, with multiple different locations and 25 different outcomes.
  •       Barricaded Suspects – A police or SWAT scenario, with 3 locations and an almost infinite number of outcomes, no playthrough will be exactly the same. There will be certain objectives to achieve during every scenario, which will be scored at the end of the mission.

With over 20,000 lines of code, this callout pack is an ambitious project. If you appreciate my work, feel free to show your support here. Please leave a review!

HOW TO PLAY

Barricaded Suspects

1.       Ensure LSPDFR is loaded, and you are on duty. You can either wait for the callout to spawn randomly or use a callout launcher.

2.      Arrive on scene. Prepare equipment (armor, long guns, etc.).

3.      The location of the entrance to the callout should be marked on your map with a white garage symbol.

Could contain: screenshot, white, black, graphics, black and white, graphic design, line, designCould contain: blue, screenshot, majorelle blue, ground, indoor, window

Once you are at that location, you may see a blue circle, which you can stand inside and press “E” to enter the interior. If there isn’t a blue circle, look for enterable doors. You can just walk through these doors to enter the interior.

4.      To command a suspect, aim your weapon at them, and then press Y to command them. (A prompt should pop up in the top left corner of your screen)

5.      Continue to interact with them until an outcome occurs.

         a.      Some suspects may not respond to commands, this is intentional, and they may also walk away from you.

         b.       If the use of deadly force is necessary, use it.

         c.      If a suspect is compliant or has given up after the interaction has finished, arrest them (with StopMyPed or LSPDFR Vanilla Arrest) and move on.

6.      Defend yourself if necessary. Some suspects may not want to talk.

7.      Go slow, be careful. You can die easily.

8.      Complete all objectives. Objectives will pop up as completed when they are fully finished. Your performance will be scored at the end.

9.      Once all suspects, civilians and objectives have been completed, a prompt will show up to end the callout. Attend to the leftover suspects as you see fit.

Trespassing

1.       Ensure LSPDFR is loaded, and you are on duty. You can either wait for the callout to spawn randomly or use a callout launcher.

2.      Arrive on scene.

(Common for gas stations, barber shops, etc.)

3.      Press Y to interact and talk with the suspect

4.      Continue to talk to the suspect until an outcome occurs

BUG REPORTING & TROUBLESHOOTING

Please report all bugs in the callout pack on the LSPDFR mod page or message me on Discord @ Vixloi

  •        If nothing is working, ensure all requirements are properly installed. If still not working, fully delete the callout and requirements, and do a fresh install.
  •        If Interiors are not enterable, confirm EnableAllInteriors is installed correctly, with the latest version of SCHVDN-Nightly.
  •        Note: If your computer is considered a “potato” it is highly likely that EAI and this callout will not run correctly. This callout is performance intensive.
  •        If EnableAllInteriors is not working, try installing InteriorsV

Thanks for the rework. Hopefully me and my units can go inside now. Not sure If i'm duplicating enable interiors or something. I will test later tonight to try some ASC scenarios obviously in public buildings like LSCO.

I greatly appreciate it! I had a few callout ideas as well. A customs raid on the chicken plant and then various search warrants and arrest warrants for several places (ranging from white collar crimes to homicides, maybe even one involving the Lifeinvader building for an ICAC investigation if that isn't something that'd be too dark that leads to getting a search and/or arrest warrant for a random property

Sure! If you want to message me on discord we can discuss further.

Okay so managed to get this to work without SHVDN because I used Open All Interiors instead of Enable All Interiors.

Great callout pack!

Hello

I cant play LSPDFR in peace because you are keep updating your callout-pack and it keeps crashing my game because of it.

I support every update but why do you have to update your work every 5-10 hours (every f*ck*ng day)

I hope you understand my point of view and Im sorry for my "anger"

I'm sorry to hear that you are having issues. I do understand your point of view, but with the nature of this callout pack, it is not really avoidable. The callout pack is updated frequently, mainly to mirror the updates from Script Hook V Dot Net Nightly (SCHVDN), which is a requirement for the latest version of Enable All Interiors. Not updating may cause the entire callout pack to not work for new downloaders, as providing older versions of SCHVDN with the callout pack may cause instability. This is why it's updated frequently.

However, if the callout pack is already installed, playing on older versions of SCHVDN with a compatible version of EAI with this callout should not be causing crashes. When the callout checks for updates when the player goes on duty, it should not be crashing.

I just tested this myself and didn't have any crashes while playing on an older version of SCHVDN, and IC (v1.2.2). However, I understand that not everyone's computer behaves the same as mind, so if this is still an issue for you, please feel free to send me the rage.log file on discord and I can find out why your game is crashing. It should not be doing that because of this callout, and if it is, I would like to find why and get it fixed for ya. And if it's not this callout pack that is crashing, I can likely find the other culprit.

It is not always necessary to update the callout pack if the update was just updating SCHVDN, which will always be specified in the patch notes. You can make the decision based on the patch notes if you want to update or stay on an old version.

Great callout pack!

Glad to hear that it works! I used to use OAI, but given the lack of updates, I unfortunately have to deal with EAI and SHVDN. I might consider switching everything over to InteriorsV to avoid this SCHVDN headache.

I can confirm that this is not fully working with InteriorsV, the only thing I found working Trespassing at Office and Coroner Scene. The rest need Enable all Interior mod.

Good callout and great idea. Will be looking forward to see more, like Stalker trespassing into a house.

Despite installing "Enable All Interiors" plugin smootly, the Barricade Callout are not working for me. Don't have entry point blip on Vespucci. I have already enabled Teleport and Blip in Interiors ini file. Any solution?

Yes! The callout was not up to date with SCHVDN-Nightly. This will cause EAI not to work.

Please update when you can to 1.2.6!

If you still have issues, let me know.

So having tried, I can now officially say that didn't work. And it's weird because EAI works perfectly fine, it also worked prior to the update, but I just wanted to be 100% before I said that. Is it possible that you might have enabled an interior that is disabled by default?

Nothing has changed, code wise. Legit the same code. Not sure why it would stop working all of the sudden. It worked on my computer when I tested it before I sent the new update out (v1.2.6). If you would send me the rage.log after trying to play a callout, that would be great. Maybe I can find out why seemingly "updating" has borked stuff.

The hardest part about trying to debug this is that the callout code does not behave consistently across people's computers. Even if it runs on my computer, doesn't always mean it will on others.

I would suggest reverting to an older version of the callout if that helps. They are available on the download page.

Tried new version but still Vespucci is not working. I think there is no interior by Enable All Interiors in Vespucci where you setup the scene for Barricade Suspect. You might be using a different Interior mod which made it enable for you.

I would be great if you could adapt your callout with InteriorsV because EAI makes lots of FPS drops.

I haven't had any issues running EAI. You might want to check your pc specs

Why not simply add the GitHub link to the readme file? So you wouldn't need to update the download because of a nightly-released dependency.

I have had multiple reports from more than one person that EAI is performance heavy. They were having the same issue: interiors wouldn't spawn even if they installed it correctly (I personally walked them through the process over a call), and things still wouldn't work. His PC could barely run LSPDFR at more than 25 FPS. This could be a reason the callout is not working for you.

Additionally, this callout is also very performance heavy and there is tons of code running the background when playing. I would suggest checking if you computer is good enough to run the callout. I have no plans to switch from EAI to InteriorsV, as EAI offers more interiors and locations.

I am only using EAI when I develop locations and callouts, I use no other callout mods. All the locations work when I test them on my side. See my PC specs below:
Ryzen 7 5800H

32GB DDR4 3200mhz

Nvidia GTX 3060

I generally run 50-60 FPS when playing the most performance intensive callout (Barricaded Suspects Coroner).

I might just exclude the install files from the download and just let people install SCHVDN nightly by themselves to remove repetitive uploads.

I think its a bit useless to update your plugin only to have a new shvdn version.
There are no features nor required updates and only small changes in shvdn itself.
Keep up the great callout work however! I wish for many more locations! 🙂

I agree with you. It's too much work. I'll rip out SHVDN next update.

Thanks for you support! I am glad you enjoy this callout, I've had a lot of fun making it.

Got any suggestions for callouts or new locations? I want to keep it unique, and not copy other callouts that already exist.

While possible, if that's the case, wouldn't that affect all the other interiors with teleporters as well?

Also, I have noticed that you can't use PolicingRedefined to detain a suspect/victim during the call, doing so causes them to not be recognized as arrested/rescued

I’m not sure if it’s the case why they are having the issue. I think it’s a possible reason for the big, but hard to say without any good evidence. The only way I can figure out if it’s a callout issue is with the log file.

Send me your ideas on discord!

I have no clue how Policing Redefined or the arresting system works. If you tell me more about the issue on discord, I can see if I can try to fix it. Right now I know it works with vanilla LSPDFR arrest and STP arresting.

The code will check for if the suspect/civ “is cuffed”, so if policing redefined doesn’t cuff the suspect, that could be why it doesn’t weil.

So the mod works and the interiors work fine. Does anyone know of a way to get your partners inside with you?
