[Contact me for any bugs of feature requests! As I had to transfer my entire code to Scripthook V there might be some tiny bugs that I will update in the next week ^^]

Hey everyone,

I managed to find my files for this script on my old PC!

I updated BasicCruiseControl to work again with the newer versions of Scripthook!

So: Lots of you want to keep it real, especially when it comes to speeds when on patrol in LSPDFR. And most of you know how hard and annoying that can be! The problem is, that this is pretty hard and can get annoying after a certain amount of time. That can be a big minus to "realistic" patrols, because you as a cop should absolutely stick to the speed limit. This plugin adds a basic cruise control/speed limiter/what ever you want to call it to the game that lets you select a speed your vehicle will never exceed. You can set the CC to hold (pause working) while you have your emergency lights on in the config file!

Installation

!! THIS IS A SCRIPTHOOK V .NET SCRIPT !!

1. Download Scripthook V from http://www.dev-c.com/gtav/scripthookv/ and follow the readme in it's RAR archive!

2. Download Community Scripthook V .NET from https://de.gta5-mods.com/tools/scripthookv-net and copy all the files to your GTA V main directory

3. (If you don't have it already) create a folder called "scripts" in your GTA V main directory

4. Drag BCC.dll and BCC.ini into that folder

Voilá!

Quick troubleshooting:

If you have vehicles spawning/weird things happening while using the PageUp and PageDown keys, that is most likely due to a trainer (like SimpleTrainer). Make sure to disable those keybindings in the trainers ini!

So I'm still having the same issue as before the update.... Everything UI wise works fine but the script itself just is not working. While in a vehicle, the script says that CC is "on" and speed is set to whatever it's set to. I accelerate, get up to the set speed, the system tells me that its braking but nothing happens as I can continue to hold my 'W' key and continue to speed up with no change whatsoever therefore rendering it completely useless to me.

That should not happen...try turning the ToggleWithLights thing off. Are you using modded cars?

This mod is giving me issues with police vehicles. Cruise control works flawlessly for normal cars but when I drive a police vehicle and press the cruise control button the plugin crashes. Only crashes in police vehicles.

Mine doesn't work. I believe it crashes LSPDFR too, although if I reload everything EXCEPT this, it works fine. I think I may have to go in another direction for this type of mod.

I will give that a try, yes I am using modded cars

EDIT* So I tried it with "ToggleWithLights" off and no bueno..

how are you getting it to work? I'm not even doing lspdfr right now, just story mode and it don't work.... goes past the limit every time

It goes on hold when your lights are on. You can switch that off in the config!

This is the best cruise control out there hands down! But ever since I had to reinstall my game, it wont work? I have redownloaded it and everything still nothing. I go in to my game hit K and it says cruise control on but my speed limit is stuck at 5mph. It wont change and it doesn't even enforce the 5mph limit. @ThruZZd any way you can help me out?

Since the last Rockstar update cruise control is stuck at 5mph and you can't change it. Also says braking but vehicle doesn't slow down to 5. I think it needs an update. Others seem to be having a problem to. Great mod though. Worked great before the update.
