Police SmartRadio - The Successor to Police Radio! 1.2.0.0

@Acksios I'm trying to respond as soon as I can 🙂 

Now this might be a big task, but would you be able to disable all of your plugins only running Police Smart Radio and LSPDFR ?

If not the only mods I suspect could conflict is these, maybe you could just try and disable all of these:

BetterEMS

Arrest manager

LSPDFR+

Traffic Policer

Does the log file contain anymore information about the error ?

Aha, I think you narrowed it down!

So I removed the 4 mods you mentioned above. Result was that it crashed again but now with a different last line in the log file (see the ragepluginhook_05032020_21415.log).

I thought that as I have fiddled a lot lately with Policesmartradio (I have tried a new skin with 8 buttons as I thought maybe the displayconfig file was causing the crash) to redownload & overwrite the files again (I do not use the Albo1125 or Ragepluginhook files that come with it, assuming that I have newer ones; and for the Albo1125 file; i keep the one you gave me earlier).

This time LSPDFR did not crash, but a pop up message appeared saying that I am missing traffic policer.dll file and that Policesmartradio will not load.

So I choose option 3 to exit, and LSPDFR was working fine but of course without Policesmartradio.

After 1 min I quit manually out of GTA (I added the log file if it could help, RagePluginhook_05032020_214829.log)

Next step I added Traffic policer mod again (fresh download aswel) and I received the same error as before (LSPD First Response: Police SmartRadio queue created. Waiting...) (see RagepluginHook.log in attachment).

FYI, during this whole process, I have deleted the dll files for Better EMS, Arrest manager, LSPDFR+ as I want to tackle this step by step.

So any ideas with the info above what the next step could be?

So far so good, are you by any chance using the Albo's version of Traffic Policer or are you using my version?

As far as I know LSPDFR+ and Arrest Manager causes issues with LSPDFR 0.4.6, I have made a version of Arrest Manager, but it's still a work in progress, as there are some bugs I am trying to sort out.. So far I have been using StopThePed instead of Arrest Manager.

I haven't looked into LSPDFR+ at all, since I believe it's not really needed since 0.4.6.. I might be wrong though, since I haven't used it since the update 😛

I've been looking at your log file trying to brainstorm, not sure what might cause the plugin to crash at this point.

Maybe trying to see if it works only with traffic policer, smart radio and lspdfr.. If it's a compatible issue or if it's something else crashing the plugin

It crashes again, but you have made it into my log file 😉: The last line in my log file is not "queue created....waiting" but "updated by Demuth"!

I have added the log file in attachment.

So hopefully this will help you a bit more to continue! 

PS: just a question on one of our previous try's to understand the log file a bit more: in the extract you mentioned above, the next line after "queue created...Waiting" is "Setting Display position to BottomRight". Does this mean that my LSDFR was crashing (so before I installed your police smart radio dll that is) on the setting display position? As it is not showing in my log file?

Basicly it crashes at the same point:

To me it looks like your LSPDFR is corrupted ? o.O

So I have uninstalled GTA5 completely and started from scratch. It took me several hours to reinstall the main mods & LSPDFR, but now everything is working like a charm!

I'm really glad your game is working again, I have no idea how it got corrupted in the first place but the important part is you now got a working game 😄 

Hello, guys. When this script will updated? I really want to play with this mod, but unfortunately I have LSPD:FR 0.4.6. So, what`s the problem? 

I have been trying to start this script for a long time, but I can`t do it, because this mod is not responsible for LSPD:FR version. Heelp!

i have been having an issue where only the bottom half of the radioo is shown in the top left of the screen instad of the bottom right. I hav no idea why this has happened it was out of nowhere. Does anyone have the same problem/ have  a soluation?

nm it resolved itself

@Albo1125When I call for a plate check it says that a file is incorrect even after I followed the tutorial. Also when i call for a ped check it crashes my lspdfr every time. The only choice that works is the panic button.

I downloaded this on my previous computer and everything worked great. Now, I've downloaded it again and everything works. However, it didn't give me the option for "coroner" or "tow truck". Maybe I need to reinstall, idk. Any help would be great. Thanks in advance!

For anyone with the same issue I downloaded "arrest manager" and it gave me the additional options for coroner and tow truck.

Hi Demuth! I've been modding GTA V for about 2 weeks, finally got a good stable version with the mods that fit my play style and then the  0.4.7 update of lspdfr hits, killing all the best plugins. Namely, the prereqs needed for your radio. As I'm new to the community, I hope you take this as pure curiosity when I ask, when could we expect an update for these plugins that works? 

I had some crashing issues today, pretty badly, so I thought an update was in order. Boy was I wrong. I look forward to seeing anything and everything you and Albo have to offer, but again, I was curious how long updates that follow an lspdfr update usually take. I'm completely happy running a very vanilla version of lspdfr and I also understand that you will be dependant on other mod Authors. Anywho, I thought I'd try to quell my curiosity about timelines and also say you guys are awesome! I appreciate everything you guys do to help make this community awesome!

@Demuth I know this has been asked before, but would it possible to make a version of SmartRadio which runs without Traffic Policer?
Is it really dependent on the Traffic Policer.dll or is it just a check at startup of SmartRadio (like Arrest Manager)?
