These config files will allow you to utilize all vehicles in SoCal Thero's State Wide pack to their fullest potential by allowing backup AI to respond driving them, and with proper uniforms. 

Credit to @AstroBurgers for his EUP to UB conversion tool which makes making these configs a breeze. 

 

Two versions of these configs exist:
   - Version 1 Base
      - The standard configs converted to Policing Redefined
   - Version 2 Extras
      - Includes replacers for the Flatbed and one of the tow trucks, see below for links. 
Do not use the Policing Redefined configs for Ultimate Backup. 

Use this instead.

 

Install instructions:
- BACK UP ORIGINAL FILES!
  I am not responsible if you did not back up your original files before installing. 
- Drag n drop the three .xml files into
     GTA V Directory -> Plugins -> LSPDFR -> PolicingRedefined -> Backup
  - Replace when asked. 

Wardrobe.ini instructions:
Merge method: reccomended to save custom outfits from being erased
- Open my wardrobe.ini file, right click, select all, copy
- Open your wardrobe.ini, scroll to bottom, hit Enter twice if needed, 
  right click, paste
  - Make sure all the outfit entries are evenly spaced when pasting!
Replace method: clean wardrobe.ini install, will erase custom outfits
- Back up your original wardrobe.ini
- Copy my wardrobe.ini to GTA Directory -> Plugins -> EUP
  - Replace when asked. 

Requirements:
 - SoCal Thero's Pack

 - EUP 9.7 or newer, from the EUP Patreon

Version 2 exclusive:
 - F550 Rollback Flatbed

 - RAM 5500 Wrecker

 - Vapid Kennel Animal Control truck
 

Final Notes and Known issues:
- These configs were intended for use with EUP versions 9.7 or newer.  Older versions of EUP (9.6, 9.3, 8.3, 7.2, etc.) will NOT work. 
- Bike Unit AI was rather buggy in my testing, especially in LS City Proper, driving too slow or sometimes brake checking me during pursuit. I believe this has to do with LSPDFR's pursuit AI behavior and I'm not sure how to adjust that. Let me know in my server if you experience anything similar.
  - The above issue seems to be specific to Ultimate Backup. In Policing Redefined, I did not encounter this issue. Quite the opposite, actually.

Thank you soooo much for this! I was struggling to get it working myself just converting from UB configs.

    This set is due for another major overhaul as soon as Thero releases that update he’s working on, he’s included a BUNCH of stuff that PR in specific will be able to use quite extensively as well as a bunch of new K9 cars😁keep an eye on his Discord if you haven’t seen any of it, and stay tuned to mine for the actual config set updates😄

    Thank you for this config, it really enhances the game. Only thing I have noticed is LSPD will patrol statewide and Grapeseed police, Sandy Shores Sheriff, and paleto police do not spawn driving around unless called in backup menu. I don't know if you do plan on updating this anymore, but if you do it would be great. This config saves so much headache with setting up an immersive patrol and is one of my essentials.

    What you're referring to is controlled by the LSPDFR data files which neither PR nor I mess with, so that's why the local PDs you mentioned only respond when called. In order to stop LSPD from patrolling statewide you'd have to edit the LSPDFR data files (not the backup configs), which I myself don't even know how to do lol. Beyond that I'm glad you're enjoying them! And yes, I do plan on updating this in the future once Thero releases the next update for the mega pack which, as I understand it, is stil WIP but has a metric shit ton of new additions to be excited for, especially for PR-specific needs like new tow trucks and animal control.

    I appreciate you letting me know that, I honestly thought it was this just because I could see the custom cars. I might do some looking at how to edit the LSPDFR data now but I probably should get some extra strength Tylenol ahead of time. Glad to know you do plan another update when Thero releases his- highly looking forward to it <3
