This is a simple script that is based on ragehook to make cars move over when only having your emergency lights running not your siren

no keys because it works as a standalone script what I basically mean is it doesn't need any user interaction it does everything by itself

I am trying to enhance the "default" without script behavior so the pullover behavior or "move over" behavior is improved because to be honest when I play the game every time I get to a crowded area in gta v I keep crashing into people because they don't move over correctly.

So I guess the gist of what I am trying to say is be respectful, don't say the obvious everyone knows this works without a script by default in gta v.

README/Install Instructions:

  • extract the dll file from the zip file using 7-zip or winrar or whatever
  • and then copy the dll file to your plugins folder
  • to here C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\general\Grand Theft Auto V\plugins
  • and that is where you place the dll file to make this script work
  • If you have your game on any other drive replace the C:\ part with your drive you have the game on.

Important Notice regarding Obfuscation Used to Protect Copyright

Due to using Max Obfuscation Settings inside the .Net Framework Obfuscator that is used to protect copyrighted logic & such inside the software/plugin, it is likely a antivirus might see the obfuscation and several other obfuscation settings like anti-tamper/anti debug/etc that are used to further protect and prevent copyright infringement of the software/plugin as a False Positive.

To Date as of 8/23/2023 there has only been one lesser known antivirus named "Ikarus" that has even thought this plugin is a virus/trojan which it is not and is only due to the extreme protection settings set in the .Net Framework Obfuscator used to protect the software/plugin that causes this.

Also since it appears I get comments asking for a FiveM Version, there is a FiveM Version however it is private at the moment and not public and is only for my own FiveM Server at the moment.

This is because the last time I released a FiveM Version long ago, I had a certain FiveM Community deobfuscate my software and try to rub it in my face that they managed to get it deobfuscated & such, which in my opinion is both rude & illegal.

 

So due to that experience I likely will not be releasing the private version of the FiveM version of this script until further notice and will send copyright violation notices(DMCA TakeDown Notices) to anyone found running this script on FiveM.

 

I apologize for this unfortunate decision that had to be made regarding this, however hopefully people understand how I did not prefer to have to keep the FiveM Version private as I know how popular this plugin is, as well as how fun it would be for use on FiveM but due to the above stated reason, I do not feel comfortable at this time releasing the plugin for FiveM publically again. 

 

FiveM Version uploaded and released, please be aware I no longer have any interest in FiveM at this time.

Is there supposed to be an ini file somewhere? I read in other comments that it would generate after running the plugin, but I don't see one.

Yes there is a ini file it is supposed to generate, do you have .Net Framework 4.7.2 installed? if not, that is a requirement for this plugin to work.

I will be pushing a update later on once it passes Q&A testing that enables it to work on .Net Framework 4.8 and latest RPH Version.

Ahh that must be the issue, I got updated to 4.8 and the new RPH. I thought for sure there was an ini before but since I updated a bunch of stuff and reinstalled it was gone. Thanks for the info, I'll be looking forward to the update!

Vehicles are not going around my vehicle anymore since the last update. They still clear the way when im responding, but when im on a traffic stop, they don't go around anymore.

This was not changed in the update.

Based upon my testing, could not find this issue.

Hey, this script makes the traffic stops when you park the car in the middle of the street in diagonal? I heard something like that in the community, but the description doesn't confirm it..

It does yes, this was a recent addition based upon suggestion from a few comments back.

you need to enable this in the auto generated INI File:

by changing:

EnableNewTrafficBreakFunctions=false

to:

EnableNewTrafficBreakFunctions=true

 

For this new feature to be enabled/work.(it is disabled by Default)

Suggestion: so im not sure if this would work or not but would it be possible to have vehicles on residential roads stop or slow down & pull on the right and have the cars on the freeways slow down or keep the same pace when in a pursuit or something like it not sure how to explain unless it already has it

The Freeway one does work, they will slow down and attempt to move over, the residential roads scenario is a bit harder to detect due to not being able to detect how many lanes a road you are currently on has unless there is a solution already out there I am not aware of.

However even on Residential Roads they will still try to move over or slow down and if I remember right the script will try to make them stop when they have moved over to let you pass by them.

 

So most of this is already integrated into the script/plugin already, however some things are hard to detect like the number of lanes in a road issue so the plugin can more accurately know which roads you are currently on(Residential, Freeway,etc)

What I am aware of, is both of those mods are not plugins/scripts per say but more along the lines of meta file edits on the game files itself.

This does not generally modify your game files at all, as it is a RPH plugin instead. so the question of it being "compatible" with a meta game file edit isn't really something to be concerned about, as meta files in the GTAV Game Files vs this plugin(a script/plugin running on RPH) are generally two seperate things and do not have any compatibility issues at all....I will let someone else jump in here and explain to you the differences between meta files(actual game file edits) vs a RPH plugin/script as I don't know how to really explain to you what you seem to be asking.

Nope, it has to be on a FIveM Server as a client script resource, I have lost interesting in doing anything with FiveM, so you will have to figure out how to do that yourself.

What you're looking at are two different types of modifications for GTAV. Meta file edits involve changes to the actual game files, which can affect how the game operates at a fundamental level. Sadly, im still having major issues with traffic jamming up on 2 laned roads, for example, Paleto Forest with it being 2 laned, on either side when I perform a traffic stop, traffic gets absolutely backed up and the AI are just dumb. Also, busses, semi trucks and other large vehicles still do not move over out of the way. Not sure if this was intentional or if this is how it is.
